Overlook Beach Retreat 1 MILE From Cherry Grove Beach! PET FRIENDLY IN SUNROOM!

Welcome to the Overlook Beach Retreat!! Where relaxation is most definitely the vibe! Located just 1.3 miles from the Cherry Grove Beach access in North Myrtle Beach SC this place has it all!! Throughout the home you will notice that there is always a comfortable place to stop and relax!! With three spacious bedrooms, each with large inviting beds, and three separate den/living room areas all appointed with comfortable seating, there’s always a reason to RELAX! A place to unwind, unplug, and recharge your soul! Maybe I’m being dramatic here, but doesn’t that sound lovely? I needed a change of scenery and I know you do too! You will find that here! We have created a space that invites you to do something different. Just Be. We don’t do that nearly enough as humans. Too many responsibilities right? As animal lovers we found ourselves with three small dogs and we created our sunroom as a doggy oasis. It’s climate controlled, has a concrete floor, and a small doggy door that leads to a fenced in patio area with Astro turf just for your fur babies!! Not to mention the comfortable seating and 65 inch flat screen!! We do ask that pets stay in this area to keep the other parts of the home safe for anyone with allergies. If this is an issue for you and you have to sleep with your pet then this is not the rental for you. We have a doggy gate separating that room from the rest of the home, but you can rest easy knowing your dogs are safe and comfortable, and still enjoy your vacation since you aren’t constantly worrying about your pets. The three separate sitting areas each have large flat screens and comfortable seating which gives multiple parties some separation and it can also provide some separation for parents and kids!! Who doesn’t like that from time to time? The kitchen is fully stocked with every pot, pan and utensil you could need to make family meals and save money, but but please be respectful of our kitchenware and not use metal utensils in nonstick kitchenware etc. We also have a large kitchen table that seats six and bar seating for three, We just ask you not to sit glasses and hot plates or pots directly on table top. We left our guests a Keurig that makes single serve cups as well as drip coffee for larger groups. We supply 10 pods of Colombian Coffee and 10 pods of Donut Shop Coffee as well as some really good chocolates. You will need to bring ground coffee if that’s your preference. We have a washer and dryer just off the kitchen for guest use as well. Please be mindful of the washer lid and don’t lean on or slam it. If grilling is your thing we have the spot for you too. Our outside patio area is equipped with charcoal grill, gas fire pit, (we supply propane) as well as a wood fire pit, (we do not supply wood) and a large outdoor seating area perfect for roasting smores! Or roasting each other if your family and friends are anything like mine! The hot tub seats five supposedly but four comfortably and although it’s definitely family friendly, it was meant as a place for spouses/lovers to unwind. I’ve thrown in a little mood lighting and with the curtains drawn for privacy it’s definitely my favorite thing about our place. The neighborhood is mainly mobile homes with some raised beach houses thrown in, but it is a very safe community and its in the most sought after area of North Myrtle/Cherry Grove. We do not allow parties and we ask that there be no loud noise after 10pm. We love our neighbors and we don’t want them to be bothered by loud guests and they will call us if so! The neighbors definitely look out for each other but also mind their business which we love. If you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you. There is also a wonderful park, free tennis courts and 3.5 mile bike path within walking distance. Overall it truly is an amazing place and we hope that you will love it as much as we do!! This is our home and not just a rental so guests looking to party need not apply! We want this to be a place that our guests can enjoy like we have.
