„As before, obviously an old building along with the problems that can sometimes bring. I positively loved this place, price was incredible and breakfast just thrown in to whatever deal you made for free....cannot beat that. Staff extremely friendly and approachable, simply no major issues at all for me.....“

„I have read a few reviews about the Grand Hotel being one of the worst hotels in Llandudno but it actually wasn't that bad at all, considering the price I've paid for. It is at an excellent spot within the area. Yes, the floors are a bit creaky, and the rooms are a bit out dated, but the main thing was to have a nice rest after exploring Llandudno, and we did. Would I recommend this hotel? Not to everyone because people have different standards, but to someone looking to save on a night's stay ...

„The hotel is situated in a beautiful area. The small village has 1 or 2 dinner possibilities around the market place and is charming - at least the center is. The hotel could use a lick of paint here ant there and you see that the owners do their best, but the castle is very large and surely there is much to do. They have tried to connect modernity and antique, of which I like the latter more. I visited the fitness studio, which was ok. There is a restaurant in the hotel with good food and cool ...

"Überteuerte Unterkunft in renovierungsbedürftigem Haus. Das Zimmer selber war bereits renoviert, aber leider die Betten noch nicht ausgetauscht, sehr schlechte Matratzen. Hotel sehr schön direkt am Meer gelegen. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit guter Auswahl verschiedener frisch zubereiteter Eierspeisen."

"Schade, dass es keinerlei Mahlzeiten (auch kein Frühstück) gab, obwohl es sich „Restaurant“ nennt. Doppelbett sehr schmal und durchgelegen. Auf der Bettwäsche waren noch alte Blutflecken zu erkennen. Sehr freundliche und gut gelaunte Inhaber."

"Das Llandudno Bay Hotel ist einfach klasse, Top Lage,nur eine Straße überquert und schon am Wasser, sehr !!! netter Service in allen Bereichen, das Zimmer (3.Stock) war eher klein, durch schräge Wände, das Frühstück sehr lecker. Einzig Parkplätze waren nicht so einfach zu ergattern"

Old but charming Castle Hotel

"The hotel is situated in a beautiful area. The small village has 1 or 2 dinner possibilities around the market place and is charming - at least the center is. The hotel could use a lick of paint here ant there and you see that the owners do their best, but the castle is very large and surely there is much to do. They have tried to connect modernity and antique, of which I like the latter more. I visited the fitness studio, which was ok. There is a restaurant in the hotel with good food and cool beer. Be prepared to meet sheep lingering outside when you walk to your car. When we were there, there were enough parking spaced."
