„We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Pines. The property was clean and well-kept. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes and while we didn't end up spending a day there, we were assured we could. We just love Oscoda Beach and Shoreline Park (for Tony's Tacos!) so we spent our beach time at those locations. It was a colder week than usual so we spend more time indoors and didn't have any complaints about the cottage. “

„My husband and I wanted to have a weekend away for ice fishing. Cabin is in a great location close to the lake. Beds are very comfortable and there's a nice wood stove (gas) to keep the cabin warm. We weren't able to fish on Higgins due to ice not as thick as we'd hoped but we were able to fish on Houghton Lake. Fish we caught too small to keep. We had lunch/dinner at the Cut River Grille at Higgins Lake and the Beechwood Cafe in Roscommon. Highly recommend! Also went to Fred's in ...

„The place was idyllic and peaceful -- just what we were looking for in a quiet holiday family retreat. There was plenty of kitchenware, towels, and linens for us for a few days. Hot tub was excellent and wifi was quick. It snowed about 4-6" over the first day we were there, and our car had trouble cresting the hilly gravel driveway with all the snow. But that's just our car, which doesn't have 4-wheel drive. Would love to see the space in the summer months!“
