Kein warmes Wasser Total veraltet Cottages, Bett war schrecklich, total durchgelegen, Lattenrost kaputt Einige Andere Reisende haben sich auch eine andere Unterkunft gesucht Schade um die schöne Location“

„Das Blue Whale Villa Penthouse ist eine super schöne Unterkunft mit grosser Terrasse und eigenem Jacuzzi. Nick ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er gibt Tipps für Aktivitäten, organisierte ein BBQ und ist sehr offen für Feedbacks. In Calibishie gibt es nur einige kleine Mini-Marts, deshalb besser bereits in Rosseau einkaufen. Die Umgebung ist eher verschlafen, aber ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um den Noeden zu erkunden.“

„Property was great and exceeded our expectations. Communication was great. The view is absolutely spectacular. The property is clean and pictures are close to accurate with some minor changes to the furniture and bug netting in the bedrooms. There is a small store within walking distance. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again should we return to Dominica.“

„Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together. “

He helped with taxi arrangements from the airport to recommending a car rental service. „My two adult children and I enjoyed a comfortable stay in two private bedrooms of the home of the gentleman that owns and lives in the advertised property. He was a kind host, graciously welcoming us when we arrived far too late in the evening and waking before 5am to see us off for our early morning departure. The bed I shared with my adult daughter was the most comfortable I slept on during our entire trip. My only concern is that Vrbo had advertised this property to us as an "Entire Home" ...

They were there to greet us although our flight arrived late and were very responsive when issues arose such as the water company suspending the water supply. „We enjoyed our relaxing stay. The reflexology massage was amazing. The food was good although the menu was limited this time. We also had issues as our rooms did not have sockets for our adapter which meant my mum could not use her breathing machine at night and no adaptors were available. The overflowing bins were a bit of an eyesore as the rest of the grounds were very well kept. This is my second stay and I know we will be back. “

„The hotel is stunningly beautiful, clean and accommodating. The main issue was food and beverage service. The staff had no clue on how to wait on tables, present menus, serve beverage or food. We waited 45 minutes for 4 drinks only to be brought one, told two weren’t available and had to wait again for the last. It was disappointing at best. Food was good but they need training in their restaurants! “

"Es war super, dass eine kleine Küche dazu gehörte. Das Frühstück war mit Liebe gemacht und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ohne Auto ist die Lage etwas abgelegen. Aber man kann in 20 min zum Strand laufen. "

"Very warm welcome at this family run business surrounded by plush jungle with free roaming roosters, cats, hummingbirds... and the little family dog. Basic but very clean rooms with a nice view at the valley of Wotten Waven. Neighborhood might bother some people considering noise but it's the carribean, so it's lively and you should bear that in mind. You can easily walk from the hotel to the famous natural hot sulphur pools (next one about 3 mins) and to the Trafalgar Falls (30 mins, hilly). Absolute highlight is the creolean food that is prepared upon wish for lunch and dinner: Amazing tastes! Plus: They offer shuttle service from the sea port of Roseau (25 € one way). I will be back for sure!"
