„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „The boutique Bellwether Hotel is so beautiful and a step back in time. The art deco design, the second floor lounge, and the rooms all beautifully decorated and comfortable. Walk to restaurants, grocery, bars and antique shops. “

„We stayed in the Odd Fellows room which was wonderful. It was very clean and had every convenience that I needed. I appreciated the personal touches like the extra, soft blankets and the quirky decor. The whiskey venue downstairs got a little loud on the Saturday night, but the noise machine and ear plugs helped with that. Overall, I highly recommend!“

„A quick getaway to unplug and reconnect with each other. The rain set the scene for lovely lazy nap with the sound of rain on the roof and the waterfall was so beautiful. It is rustic in that there is an outdoor bathroom and no sink-but if you are prepared it is a lovely time. “

„Window blinds difficult to use. I am 84 and had o stand on a chair. My daughter is 5ft 7in and it was hard to hook them up, A handbar in the walk-in shower would have been nice, I was in 107 and the walkway to the porch was risky; steps very steep and no handrails, Great amenities, soap, lotion and shampoo ,kitchen wonderful, water pressure great A great place for vacation “
