„My daughter and I stayed 2 nights while visiting colleges in the area. The room was cute (modern, beach-vibe) and clean. As others mentioned when the bar let out around midnight it was a little loud (many college students rent in the area). I also didn’t care for the mini-split going on and off throughout the night - I’m just not used to that noise. Overall it was a fine stay but perhaps not if you are a light-sleeper. “

„We were a family of 4 adults and 2 toddlers staying over Thanksgiving. We really didn’t need all the space but we certainly enjoyed it. There’s a huge well stocked kitchen, kids’ play areas on both the main floor and basement, and the property is massive and gorgeous. Great stay!“

„If you pictured this property minutes from the historic district of Newtown it’s exactly that. The space brings to life the feeling of the rustic yet comfortable aspect of Connecticut. My adult son and teenage daughter were comfortable but thoroughly enjoyed the living room fireplace. „I booked this place for my mother and her friend to visit family up north and this place was true perfection for them! They raved about how clean, updated, easy to park, great amenities and location it was! The owner was so responsive out of the gate. My mom loced it so mych she asked me ahead to check dates around the holidays when we head up again but the house was booked. „We stayed at Ovi’s house for three weeks to visit family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House and garden are as described and pictured, spacious and well maintained. The tennis court, pool and barbecue area were a particular highlight for us during August. Ovi was the best host, greeted us on arrival and was super friendly and responsive. The few times we needed something he got back to us straight away. Highly recommend - we would love to stay again. “

„Stayed while doing college visits for Fairfield and Sacred Heart. Very clean hotel. Two sides of the property..one faces the river and train tracks and the other the street. We picked street side and it worked out perfectly. No noise issues or anything.“
