Peaceful Retreat
We (3 adults in 60's) enjoyed our stay. We are recovering from some deaths in the family so the peacefulness & quiet was very nice. We all really enjoyed the pool! The farm animals were a delight to watch. Sarah - we wish you good luck & health with your future life adventures!

Excellent Stay!
Had such a great time. Definitely for the animal lover!! We loved the horses and the cats and the dog and once we got used to the goats -- we loved them too! haha I've never been around goats before. Loved walking the property and the peaceful mornings. The weather wasn't very cooperative -- but even in the rain, it was beautiful. We definitely want to come back!

An awesome experience
This home was a great experience for us. We all loved every aspect. The pool was so enjoyable. The animals were a lot of fun to watch. The house had everything we needed. We didn't want to leave and hope to be back next year. The host, Sarah, was wonderful, attentive to needs and a real joy. Can't wait to go again!!

Relaxing Spot in a Country Setting
We had a wonderful time at this home. Its quiet location down a long driveway from the road made this spot a relaxing respite. We loved the very large pool with both a shallow and deep end. The horses and goats on the property enhanced the country feel. The kitchen has everything you need and the very comfortable living room has a beautiful western feel reminiscent of a home in Jackson Hole or Montana. Sarah, the owner, was great to work with and she seemed very invested that we had a great time. We hope to stay there again!

Perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends or family
Had a great time for our girls weekend at this property. The pool was perfect and plenty spacious for relaxing and hanging out for the day. The host was very nice and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. The animals were also our entertainment for the weekend. House has everything you need for your stay.

Absolutely Wonderful
First and foremost, thank you to Sarah, who was the nicest and most gracious host ever! Sarah was very quick to respond and extremely kind and helpful. The house and the grounds are just lovely. Very private, very quiet, yet close to stores and restaurants if you were to need something. We were able to bring two dogs and they had a great time as well. The pool area is just beautiful, there are flowers everywhere and the koi pond with the fish and frogs is charming. The area is fenced in so we didn’t have to worry about the dogs running out. There is plentiful seating and we had a wonderful family dinner on the patio. My little girls had the best time sitting in the tiki bar and watching cartoons while playing with the house cat and her kittens. The house is beautiful, rustic yet modern. Beds were very comfy, and the bunks beds were a hit with my kids. The kitchen is WELL STOCKED with every dish or gadget you need to cook or bake. The house and pool were extremely clean. It was awesome getting to pet Sarah’s adorable goats and friendly horses. We saw monarch butterflies and rabbits. The catch and release pond is very cool. Sarah, thank you for letting us stay in your home, we will be back. God bless you and your beautiful home.

The pool was definitely used several times a day. The hot tub was so nice after a day of sight-seeing. My kid loved playing with the cats and goats. The horses are very friendly. No AC in 2 bedrooms. Pet odor. Would stay here again. Great for our small family but set up for a group of friends too.

The house is fully stocked with everything you need. The pool area is so nice, plenty of rafts. My niece and nephew loved the pool and pond. My dogs enjoyed the fenced in area. It was a great family getaway.

Long Birthday weekend
We totally enjoyed our stay. The welcome basket was very unexpected and absolutely lovely. My granddaughter Libby (3 yrs Old) loved feeding your horses. She cried when she got up Sunday and saw that we were packing. She did not want to go..."if we leave who is going to feed the horses???" with tears going down the face. It was a very hot weekend and the Pool was used a lot. Sarah was very responsive when it came to questions on the hot tub. Great Time and place! Thank you Sarah for opening your house to us!

April 8, 2024 Great American Eclipse & Birthday Weekend
We chose this amazing property about eight months before April 8 to enjoy the eclipse in the path of totality and also to celebrate my 50th birthday. This was a fantastic property in so many ways, but especially if you are an animal lover. The ranch has two friendly horses, two friendly goats, a super friendly cat, itty bitty, and host Sarah that stops by twice daily to tend the animals along with her dog Moose. Communication with Sarah was extraordinary! She is a gracious and friendly host with lots of support, information and hospitality. She was available and helpful from the initial property rental all the way through our stay and checkout. The event was in April so the pool was closed, but the hot tub, fire pit, koi pond were all attractive exterior features. Indoor, the heating was comfortable and the living space was generous. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to feel at home, and linens and towels were all included. I could not have asked for a better birthday weekend! Being in the path of totality on what was eventually clear enough after threats of cloud cover, spending time with my family, and being in such a unique and wonderful property made this an event of a life time! Lovely Peaceful Getaway
The house was great, linens, towels, paper products provided. We loved the pool, outdoor areas, and interacting with the animals (goats, kittens, horses, and Moose the dog.) We were unsure about only having one bathroom, but it ended up not being a problem. Please check the battery on the door lock (code entry), it truly wasn't working. The motor would run as if it was locking, but it was always unlocked. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous place with us!

Absolutely Wonderful Getaway!
We had an amazing stay! The property is peaceful and secluded. The pool was perfect for a hot summer day and the water slide added some extra fun for my kiddos. We appreciated the grill so we didn’t have to eat out every night. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils. We enjoyed seeing and petting all of the animals. Definitely not something my city kids get to see very often. We relaxed in the hot tub! There was a heavy rain storm on one of our afternoons. The tiki hut provided some cover while we played cards and listened to the rain. Ms Sarah is the hostess with the mostest! She was always quick to respond to our questions and so very nice when we met in person. This place has everything you need and all the comforts of home! We will be staying here again!

And another great birthday!
This is the best vacation we have. This is our third time returning to this beautiful home. We always have a great time. The host Sarah is such a wonderful person. Makes you feel more like family then a customer. She goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcomed to her home. The home has so much space for everyone. And the grounds are gorgeous. If your coming to Ohio and want a relaxing welcoming place to stay this is it! You will not be disappointed with your stay. We will be back again next year for are family vacation.

Fun for All
My family came into area to visit with me and they stayed together in this quaint, peaceful country farm house. There was plenty of room for everyone in the farm house and the pool and hot tub provided fun for all of us. Although the weather was cooler than we would have liked, the heated pool and the hot tub were still enjoyable. The horses, goats, dog and cats provided entertainment for us to watch. And the location was perfect for anything we needed or anywhere we wanted to go. We definitely enjoyed our visit and would stay again in the future.

Wonderful Get Away Weekend
Sarah was great! Went out of her way to make us comfortable. Took time to show all of the animals to my son's 9 month old - they drove over for a few hours on Saturday. House was clean and the property nicely maintained. Have already recommended to two other friends.

Great time
We are a family of 8 with kids ranging in age from 20 to 11. We had an absolute blast! The back room with the bunks was perfect for our girls, the boys took the basement room/couch. My wife and I took the master. We went into Middlefield and had breakfast at Mary Yoders (awesome!), and checked out our favorite scratch and dent stores one day, the rest of our time was spent outside pretty much. We all enjoyed the pool, slide, hot tub and deck/outside areas. Sara left us a basket with extra info and s'mores fixings which we used at the nice fire pit. In the mornings we had coffee at the tiki bar and took in the peace and quiet. The animals were nice to watch but pretty much kept their distance. They responded well to the kids whenever they would go to the fence and let them. Definitely recommend!
