DESCRIPTION: Complete remodel in 2021. New furniture inside and outside, beds, luxury mattresses, linens, towels, refrigerator, stove/oven, kitchen appliances, mirrors, lighting & pictures. March 2023 installed new frontload LG digital washer & dryer 22k with WIFI. September 2023 installed new LG Artcool air conditioners with motor dual compressor, ThinQ Plasmaster Ionizer throughout. Spacious 1,539 square feet (143 meters) sought after Tower One “E” corner units because their size and every room has ocean views including kitchen, bathrooms, and walking up to the front entry door. 15th floor walk onto the balcony, or crack the windows and hear the ocean.
SPACE: A Living room sofa folds out into double bed. A fully equipped kitchen that opens to family dining and living room spaces. Complimentary Wi-Fi, Ping: 16 MS, Download: 119 MBPS, Upload: 14MBPS. Check-in 10am or later. Will allow late check out up to 5pm if available. If you desire late check-out please request. Free parking. You may appreciate ceiling fans in the 2 main bathrooms and wall fan in walk-in closet. There is a third bathroom off the laundry room. Remote ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room and of course air condition and security safe in apartment for those who desire. Both bedrooms have black out curtains and curtains in the living room. 2 new LG 55" SmartTV with Netflix, YouTube etc. Beautyrest mattresses, SOHO pillows. Whether it is an upcoming vacation, or long-term “digital nomad” stay, the Bahia Resort, in Nueva Gorgona offers ambience and relaxation to eagerly anticipate, from – endless coastlines with boisterous 24/7 ocean sound, serene mountain views, sunrises/sunsets, workout facilities, tennis & basketball courts, brand new pickleball court. Onsite inside and outside play area for children, 5 pools of which 1 is a lap pool and 2 children wading pools, 2 Spas, 2 Solariums, and 2 Jacuzzis, 2 Saunas, onsite dinning and bars. All just outside your front door or an eye’s view away! From the master bedroom or living room open up the large sliding glass doors as wide as you like and walk onto the balcony. From the balcony, in the morning you will see spectacular sunrises with the fisherman in smalls boats. Call Don and he will bring to you fresh fish caught that morning. Walk west up the beach towards Coronado to the tip and you will find suffers, usually in the morning. The walks up and down the beach are so relaxing and the ocean water is warm all year round, between 26 to 28 Celsius (79 to 83 degrees Fahrenheit). Panama voltage is 120 volts. Bahia has guest concierge service 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults and 2 children allowed in condo. NOTE: Rentals less than 30 days, Bahia administration does not allow use of solarium or gym.. Weekly stays, 18% discount. Monthly stays, 34% discount. GUEST ACCESS: Free parking. Other accommodations of the Bahia guard-gated community include its proximity to grocery stores, bank, medical centers, local restaurants, and day excursions to fit a range of interest and budgets. You can go hiking and explore water falls on a day trip as well as other towns.

GETTING AROUND: Onsite, Bahia has 3 places to eat and drink. Main restaurant, Beach bar and restaurant, a pool bar and food. There are other restaurants that are 3 to 5 block walk from Bahia and and mini-market 6 blocks. There are other restaurants as well in Nueva Gorgona. If you desire other restaurants and large supermarkets, you can have the concierge in the lobby call you a taxi for a 10 minute taxi drive into Coronado. Walk west up the beach towards Coronado and you will find other restaurants along the beach. There is also public transportation, bus. For those of whom start to feel all the fresh food is too healthy, there are fast food chains in Coronado, McDonalds, Papa John’s and Domino’s Pizza, as well as other places. Bahia has beach and lounge chairs for use free of charge. Set them under one of the Palapas if you desire shade. These are located just before you walk through the Bahia gate to the beach. There are 6 beach towels in our place so your ready for the beach or the pools.

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS: Keys will be in lockbox on front door. Host will email you all instructions needed. Check-In 10a.m. or later.

HOUSE RULES:
Maximum occupancy: 4 adults and 2 children allowed in condo. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire complex with penalties in place to maintain the pristine environment. Kindly adhere to all he rules set by Bahia, including observing quiet hours from 10:00pm to 8am. You are responsible for fines from Bahia administration or damage to condo. So please do not do any of the following: Do not put any clothing, towels on balcony to dry, play music loud that it bothers others around, play music by the pools, BAHIA will fine for these. Do not put anything damp on furniture. Do not sit on furniture with damp clothes, leave dirty dishes or pots and pans. Any wet towels please do not put in hamper. If you want to put curtains down when taking a shower, please pull chain straight down NOT at an angle, and do so easily/slowly otherwise curtains will become unbalanced. After shower, please keep curtains down until they are dry. When you pull the chain to bring curtains up, please pull straight down, not at angle, easily/slowly. If it looks like rain, please take cushions off balcony furniture and set inside condo. Please take out kitchen trash at least once per day to prevent ants. Dump the trash in trash can by stairs in the 15th floor. Do not keep windows open when air conditioners (A/C’s) are running as this will overload the A/C’s. NOTE: Rentals less than 30 days, Bahia administration does not allow use of solariums or gym.

INTERACTION WITH GUEST: We are available 7 days per week 11am to 9 pm Panama time through platform email OR by telephone or text through WHATSAPP. Also, Bahia has guest concierge service 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

DIRECTIONS: 1) Recommend using WAZE or Google Maps for directions (We prefer WAZE). Put destination "P.H. BAHIA, NUEVA GORGONA, PANAMA. From Panama City; Panamericana/Interamericana/Route 1/CA-1 to large sign which reads "Nueva Gorgona." Turn left off CA-1 towards Nueva Gorgona for 2.2 km, at your first 4-way intersection, turn right for 0.8 kilometers. You will see a sign on your left corner, make a left and drive straight for 0.3 kilometers, you will arrive at Bahia guard gates. (Note: as a reference, when driving 0.8 kilometers you will see TORITO’S restaurant, 2 blocks after passing Torito’s, make left to Bahia).

I will save you time doing research. JUST BOOK THIS PLACE.
Don’t even know where to begin. Exceptional experience from communicating with Craig to their beautiful condo that feels like you were meant to live there. The facility is very secure and very well-maintained. The beach is perfect and it’s literally right in front of where you stay. The beach bar is wonderful. This has been my best place I have ever stayed. I will be spending a few days in Panama City after this and then we are headed back home. We will be planning to possibly sell everything and buy a place here at Bahia. Like I said in my title, JUST BOOK THIS PLACE. You’re welcome in advance.

If you want to relax in style, this is the place!
Found Craig & Marlene's place on VRBO. Pictures and location (north, out of city) looked good so I reserved. The apartment is kept up extremely well. Clean, up to date, well provisioned. The 15th floor balcony view of the beach can be seen from both Living room and Master bedroom & is wonderful. The wall is floor to ceiling Sliding glass panels where you can open & have the coastal breeze flow all throughout the place. Craig & Marlene were super communicative and VERY helpful for getting us oriented to the area. I just wish we could have stayed even longer. Super great for families. private entrance directly to the beach for residents. THANK YOU CRAIG & MARLENE!!

Beautiful Condo
My husband and I stayed here for 12 nights in December and really enjoyed our stay. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. Nice king size bed in light and airy bedroom. Sliding glass doors to the balcony was really nice. There is a second bedroom and bathroom that would be very comfortable for another couple or kids. The view from the second bedroom and kitchen was gorgeous with the mountains. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook...refrigerator/freezer was so nice with water and ice maker attached (I miss that already since we've moved throughout our trip to Panama and new areas/places). The air conditioner worked well in master bedroom...we didn't use the main A/C because it was nice and breezy on the second floor and when you had the kitchen windows open, it was all we needed. Marlene and Craig were very responsive and offered to help in any way we needed. Only one drawback: a new rule in the condo only allowed you to use the gym and spa if you were staying for a month or longer. A bit of a bummer, but it didn't detract from your stay. It was nice having the ability to order food at the Bahia, but it was only available Thu-Sun. It was also fun getting to know other guests staying there. The beach bar in front of the Bahia was fun and cute too. Thank you Craig and Marlene!
