While listed as a 4-bedroom, the walls don't reach the ceiling, so the light and talking from one room is seen/heard in all rooms. The camp is leaning, so doors don't close completely, and the freezer door tends to pop open. We had bathroom and septic system issues on multiple days. The bathtub (no shower curtain provided) drained VERY slowly until we plunged it and removed lots of hair. The toilet had multiple issue. On one night, the toilet was leaking water from the floor seal when it was flushed. With no toilet, we spent that night in a hotel. Though the problem was solved the next day, I expected the courtesy of reimbursing our room. We had hoped to have my mom and a few family member spend the night with us, but with the lack of an indoor shower and the continual plumbing issues made that impractical. Finally, the front door knob failed. A few other things to note: 1) the washer only has hot water - no cold water, 2) parking is limited to 3 or 4 cars, 3) there are rocks near the dock so if you have a boat be careful when docking, 4) the train tracks are quite close to the cabin and the train horn will blare quite loudly several times during a day, and even during the night. On the positive side: 1) the camp is within 15 minutes of a fully stocked grocery store, 2) It is pretty private 3) kayaks, canoe, and life jackets were provided 4) the kitchen is well stocked with pans, plates, bowls, glasses, etc. 5) the dock, lawn and deck are beautiful places to relax.
