„Our stay at the farmhouse was amazing, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, although the weather was poor we managed to have a great time and we were greeted by a little grey cat which was adorable, thank you to the staff for making the stay the best if could be!“

„Wir verbrachten eine tolle Woche zu 7 in dem schönen großzügigen Haus mit wundervoller Terrasse und Meerblick zu jeder Zeit bei jedem Wetter (wir hatten an 5 Tagen Sonne!). Wir beobachteten Delfine, Robben und Otter. Mit Auto ist es kein Problem, in alle Richtungen zu reisen: Oban mit Kollosseum, Fähre nach Mull und Staffa, wandern auf Kerrera, wandern entlang von Steinkreisen und Castles im Süden. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen, vielen Dank für das schöne Haus!“

„We loved our stay at Bishops Bay Cottage. The cottage had absolutely everything we could have wanted/needed (including a fab tea pot). Location was beautiful and also convenient to get to different trails and sites. We had dinner at the Ballachulish Hotel on our last night and it was delicious. Highly recommend it. We cannot wait to visit the cottage again!“

„Absolutely stunning villa, over looking the beautiful Scottish Islands. We had a wonderful welcome of champagne, chocolates, and fresh vases of flowers were in every room! Beautifully decorated to a really high standard, and every room had incredible sea views. We loved the BBQ hut and hot tub. “

„Very comfortable and cozy cottage by the shore with everything we needed as a small group with a young child. Kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals, we were close driving distance to beautiful hikes and vistas. Would definitely return and absolutely recommend. “

„This cottage made it easy to fall in love with Scotland. We felt at home, nice walks with the dogs were possible, restaurant, café, brewery and a farm shop were close. We did a boat trip on Loch Gloi, played golf in Inveraray and visited Inveraray Castle (Downtonabbey fans will know it). The only thing to say: There is not a big street passing by the house, but you can hear the cars and motorcycles on the street around Loch Fyne. „Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und der Garten wunderbar angelegt. Die Lage direkt an der Bucht mit vollem Meerblick ist ein echtes Highlight. Den Sitzplatz im Garten konnten wir wegen des etwas durchwachsenem Wetter nicht häufig nutzen, aber wenn die Sonne da war, haben wir den Freisitz genossen. Aber auch hinter dem großen Fenster ist die Aussicht sehr gut. Schöne Spaziergänge direkt vom Haus weg sind möglich, z.B. zum gegenüberliegenden Castle Dunstaffnage. Geschickt ist auch der kleine Laden, ...

„Spent three days with the family. Very nice and confortable cabin, well decorated. Very quiet place close to nice beaches and excursions by boat.“

„We arrived to the property and received a warm welcome with lots of thoughtful extras. The property is immaculately presented and full of homely touches which make it a real pleasure to stay in. The location of the property was ideal for our day trips exploring the local area. We had beautiful weather throughout our stay too which just enhanced our break. „The apartment was ok. the bathroom sink was quite small that water would spill when used, not all the appliances in the kitchen were operational (stove top and oven not working). No washing machine as advertised on expedia which was disappointing. The location of the apartment was great and central. “

"Wir hatten ein geräumiges und modernes Familienzimmer und fühlten uns im Guest House sehr wohl. Praktisch war für uns auch die Gemeinschaftsküche mit dr Möglichkeit zum individuellen Frühstücken. Sehr lecker war übrigens das Essen im Markie Dans. "

Hotel an toller Lage

"Das Hotel profitiert von einer tollen Lage direkt am Loch Melfort. Die Aussicht ist, wie in vielen Reiseführer beschrieben, wirklich sehr schön. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nur teilweise erfüllt. Das Essen im Hotel war sehr gut und die Bedingung sehr freundlich. Nicht mitzuhalten mochten aber das Personal am Empfang und die Zimmer. Weder besonders freundlich noch auf Beschwerden bezüglich Zimmer wird eingegangen. Auch der Hinweis, dass wir halt nicht direkt im Hotel buchten, lässt ein ungutes Gefühl zurück. "
