Dieses Haus ist wunderschön! Wir haben einen privaten Strand noch
Roque Bluffs State Park ist 3 Meilen entfernt mit Sandstrand, auf zu gehen und verbringen den Tag. Acadia-Nationalpark ist 1 Stunde entfernt für einen Tagesausflug oder Camping Übernachtung.
Unser Haus verfügt über einen Außengasgrill, eine gut ausgestattete Küche, unsere Bäder sind geräumig und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten. Shampoo, Seife und saubere Handtücher. Strandtücher
für Ihren Tag am Strand.
Wir haben ein Master mit Balkon, ein großes Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und ein Doppelbett, ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Loft mit mit Leiter Zugang über zwei Einzelbetten.

Es gibt Nachbarn, aber alle sind sehr abgelegen, die jeweils auf 10 oder mehr Hektar.

Weekend at the Bluffs
We had a wonderful time at Roque Bluffs. The property was beautiful, just as advertised. The views were magnificent and the sounds of the waves against the shore were so peaceful! We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, private getaway with family!

Stay here only if you want an AMAZING experience. ;)
Amazing property, incredible location, fantastic views. My wife and I spent the first hour of each morning sitting outside watching the ocean from our own private bluff... We spent a fair amount of time on the secluded rocky beach, and loved the rustic landscaping and all the rose hips! The property has everything we needed, and so much we never had a chance to use (TONS of books, games, etc.). We LOVED being so far removed from the more populated areas of Maine, and spent some time in Lubec, and had lunch a couple of times on Campobello island. MUST do the lobster boat ride with Captain Larry (ask April, or there's a flier at the property), and we cooked our fresh lobster at the house and ate it outside on the picnic table. We fell in love with Maine, and this house... and you will too!

Absolute beautiful Maine coastal stay
Our family arrived for a way too short 4 days. This fabulous property is pretty remote so I would recommend staying longer! The house and views and property are stunning. We spent most nights cooking wonderful dinners and just hanging out! Loved this property so much and have many hopes to return in a year or two! Communication with host was excellent also!

We had a wonderful stay. We have been to Maine several times and this place was the best. The views are amazing and our kids had so much fun down by the water. The house was clean and comfortable. April was quick to respond when we had questions. We hope to be back!

Absolutely beautiful property! Private beach was awesome. Children enjoyed picking wild blueberries all over property. Ask for Cpt. Larry to take you out in the lobster boat. Can’t wait to return.

Down East paradise!
This is for sure a special place. The house is nicely built and furnished with fantastic views from every window. Pictures do not do this property justice! The private beach / cove is amazing and truly unique. The views, the house, the location... All un-matched! Having stayed at more than 30 rental houses and I can confidently say you will not regret staying on this property!

The home was even better than we expected. Ocean views all day, with a short walk to the private beach. The home was amazing, plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day of activities. Downeast Done Well!
Our yearly vacation to Washington County has never been so comfortable or easy! The communication from booking through trash pickup was timely and professional. Our family uses this vacation to relax and connect with nature and each other. Every review of this property will tell you the same thing… everything you want is in this house already. Everything we dreamed of for a Maine escape
We traveled with adult children and their grandmother. The home was perfect for our stay. It is remote and off of the touristy path, which is exactly what we wanted. We opened the windows and enjoyed the cool breeze in early July. We loved exploring the trails near the house and the rocky beach. We could not go to Maine without a lobster boil. We called ahead to a local fisherman and picked up 6 on the 4th of July, and later enjoyed them on the picnic table outside. The smaller kitchen table was perfect for cards and board games. We would love to come back!

Tranquil rocky cove
We enjoyed a wonderful week at this beautiful, serene ocean/woods-side home. We spent many hours walking and reading on the rocks down at the cove. Beach access was easy for two of the three seniors at the house, the third made it using walking sticks (carefully). The stars and the milky way were spectacular, after the moon cooperated with rising a little later. The kitchen was well equipped. The wrap around porch accommodated seating in sun or shade, wet or dry. We enjoyed the well-stocked games and puzzles cupboard, and the many books around the house. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows, blankets, comforters. For day trips we went to Quoddy Point and a few of its trails, Lubec, Jasper Beach, Machiasport, Machias and its museum at the old tavern, and Jonesport. A couple days we were glad to just “stay home”. I would highly recommend this lodging, and would be glad to come here again.

We had a great stay here exploring. Lots of space for the 6 of us to have space and spread out. The location was fantastic for all of our activities. We enjoyed the home very much and would definitely come again. The beach was amazing for tide pools, and beachcombing.

Wonderful stay in a great location
The house was perfect for us - two couples, no kids - as there were plenty of spaces (indoors and out) to spread out comfortably and yet come together for meals and conversation. We spent every evening on the deck, never tiring of the view. It was all that we had hoped for - and more. We loved being relatively close to Machias (grocery store, small wine shop) and yet far enough away to be able to unwind and relax. A highlight was the trip on Larry's lobster boat, followed by a dinner with lobsters caught on our tour! Highly recommend! As others have mentioned, cell service (and wifi) are somewhat slow or spotty, but that helped us relax, too!

Quiet Retreat with Awesome View
Great stay. Awesome view from Living Room and deck of the cove. Loved the sky and stars at night, watching the fog roll in and out, and the sound of the ocean waves lapping the rocks below. We were there with our adult kids and hiked a lot locally as well as two day trips to Acadia and one North to the Quoddy Lighthouse and the beautiful ocean trail there. Great communication with owner. House very spacious with everything we needed. A note for families with small kids that there are steep steps down to the cove beach area which has a lot of rocks and a small sand beach so you would need to help them down there and be there with them.

Beautiful home for family vacation
Amazing vacation destination for a family! Our kids had a great time playing on the beach and exploring the surroundings! Very private, we didn’t see anyone else on the beach even though it’s shared. Excellent hosts, super helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely go out on the boat with Larry too! The home was clean and comfortable, pictures and descriptions were accurate! Limited cell service and the WiFi isn’t fast enough to support video calls, but we’ll be back for sure, just without conference calls scheduled next time!

Breathtaking Views and a Fairytale House
You should absolutely stay here at least once in your life. Roque Bluff is remote, with very little to do. You won't be going out to eat or stressing about getting tickets for anything. But despite that, this property delivered a perfect relaxing get away. The house is so charming and well appointed with everything you will need during your stay. Our kids loved the loft! The views are even better than the pictures. We could just sit on the porch all day. Pro tip, the left porch by the office has the best view, a nice breeze and you can smell the roses. The highlight of the trip was a Lobster Boat tour with Larry. It's a must do. We caught lobsters, which we ate that night, we learned about Maine and lobstering, we saw seals and bald eagles, it was amazing. If you want action, this is not for you. If you want a tranquil place to read, play boardgames, play catch, throw rocks in the ocean with your kids or just explore nature, book this place today.
