RESORT CREDITS ARE A SCAM -
To start, my fiance and I enjoyed our stay until the last day. Food was very good, rooms were clean, servers and bar tenders were great. All this a side, the lack of accountability the resort had on a mistake they made is insane.
Prior to our trip, we booked a excursion with the app in order to get the date and time secured ahead of time. As when we booked we had 370 USD credits to use on excursions. When checking in, we were greeted by guest services who confirmed that our excursion was booked AND that the credits would be applied to the total (400 usd). We had to pay 30 usd out of pocket. A week later when we checked out, to our surprise we had a bill of 400 USD. They said that the credits arent applied to the excursion and that we had to pay out of pocket. We insisted that guest services confirmed that the credits would cover it. After talking to the front desk, they confirmed that we were told incorrect information and that they would send us to another department. That department told us to go back to front desk and that they had to fix the issue. After going back and forth for hours, we went to the PR team, who said they would help. Of course they did not help, and said they couldnt help as we were leaving in 10 minutes to the airport. We ended up 400 USD and no Resort credits were used. At the end they said, that specific excursion wasnt covered and that our credits were for spa and some excursions. Instead of telling us prior to everythin
