I stayed here for the night on a cross country solo road trip. I chose this house because I could park in the garage and not worry about unloading my valuables or anything out of the car. The house was clean and it was a convenient stop.

House was not clean
Kitchen cabinets were sticky and had a residue all over them. Dishes in the cupboards were dirty. There was hair on the sheets and the comforters were dirty. Neighborhood seemed nice but the house needs to be cleaned better between guests

Family
The house was perfect, we were able to take my sister, who's wheelchair bound in a nursing home in Oklahoma City out to visit with us. Which is what we wanted to do, this way it made our visit more personal rather than sitting at the nursing home. The house was open and enough space for her wheelchair. Everything was clean and plenty of stores and restaurants were close by as well. We will be staying there again

Did not work for us
Stellar communication and the garage was a huge plus. Downsides. We travel with the hopes of kicking back at the end of the day relaxing with our family. This was not very comfortable. Honestly if felt more like walking into a dorm room. A lot of bare space. Not real comfy for 4 adults to hang out. I ended up sitting on the floor. There are printed signs posted in several places like you would see in a dorm... such as how much they charge if you steal a hand towel and what we could do to help save energy. No towels were in the master bath, I got them out of the dryer. Trash was left in the backyard and the mb shower was not very clean. There was a pdf for all the info but I could not pull it up on my phone or computer. If all you are doing is walking in and sleeping, it works. But it's not comfortable to decompress after a long day of driving.

Our stay in OKC was pleasant but with some hiccups. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The home is spacious and in a nice neighborhood. Unfortunately, on our arrival the sheets in one of the rooms smelled like mildew because the dryer is inefficient. We rewashed and it took 8 hours to dry in the machine so likely contributed to the problem. Owners was responsive and apologetic. For those who are staying and intend to cook plan to have extra plates and cups on your shopping list.

Could Be Better
My husband and I booked and stayed in this home for one night. Based on things we experienced during our short stay, here are the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Good location, nice neighborhood, close to highway and main streets. 2. Use of garage. 3. Plenty of room if traveling with a group. 3. Easy check in and check out. 4. Owner responsive. Cons: 1. Not as clean as I would like. Rugs in master bath worn and dirty. 2. Mattress in master bedroom way too soft. There is no way we would have been able to sleep on that mattress another night. I can’t speak of the other beds because we didn’t use them. 3. Furniture in living room not as pictured. Covers looked dirty, so we didn’t sit there. 4. Toilet paper holder in secondary bathroom missing off wall. With some attention to detail, this rental has the potential of being 5 star.

DON’T STAY HERE
Please do yourself a favor and read this review and others below. I made the mistake of not reading all the reviews before booking and wish I would have. Short version, we ended up not staying here and had to book a hotel. There are an abundance of problems: furniture not as pictured, broken legs and covered in cloth that you can’t even sit on. Smoke alarm hanging from the ceiling unplugged, expired license by the city, spray foam all over the windows, overflowing trash. I could go on but more importantly, the owner wouldn’t issue a refund even though we would stay, he called me on my cell phone and was extremely aggressive and yelling on the phone. He will deny all of this in a response but if you read below there are more reviews like mine. Do yourself a favor, pick anywhere but here.
