Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Nice rooms and a very short walk to the lake. Most everything was within walking distance as well. The Commons tasting room was great! It was next to the hotel and spent a couple nights enjoying drinks, music and friendly folks. Owners are amazing😀

Needs improvement
Room was clean but TV didn’t work. No seating to read a book. Door to adjoining room opened freely and couldn’t lock from our side. Towels were very hard, bed was overly soft. Coffee was out at breakfast and no replacement brought in. No dresser or drawer for items to be stored away. Not a good value for the money.

I'm only reviewing to let you know that even tho I did realize the rate was non refundable, I am disappointed in the inflexibility of this. We had to book something in the area quickly due to a family member being hospitalized and weren't sure when she would be released. When she did get released so we could get home and book a surgery we didn't need the rooms anymore. Even with these emergency circumstances we are stuck with the cost of the unused rooms in addition to the hospital costs and loss of vacation time. Disappointing to find so little empathy and zero flexibility in this situation.

Good and not so great unfortunately
Place is decent, location is really nice for close to things to do. The dock with the property is nice. Unfortunately there’s a ton of noise from people in the parking lots around the property and the road. The various honking was insane. The parking lot has one entrance the bike path right between it is kinda dangerous you about get hit all the time. Parking with no lines so people park chaotic. And I’m not even sure where your supposed to park with a boat trailer.. which is insane considering this place revolves around a lake. The rooms are kinda strange. The only window which everyone who walks by can see though if it’s open maybe put some fricking one way tint or curtains?? The tv is a nightmare literally took me 20 min to fix. The price does not reflect the rooms. The property it’s self is a great idea. But seriously. Put some signs up so if people want to stay with their boats there’s a place to park the spots I’m assuming meant for that aren’t marked so complete airheads take up the only trailer parking spots that would work. And actually enforce people not parking there for the love of god. The breakfast is literally waffles and some bagels not great. Honestly for the cost of two nights it’s insane what they charge for this. If your older there’s a lot of stairs to this place I wouldn’t recommend it. I never review places but this place needs some serious infrastructure work. Don’t charge a resort fee if your allowing 50yr old people to honk in a parking lot at 6am

Great place. We’d stay again
The women at the front desk when we checked in were amazing. The young man at the desk when we came to him with TV. Connectivity issues was very helpful, despite not being able to solve the issue. It would appear there is a systemic issue in your Roku connectivity. May I suggest when you get someone excited for a free breakfast that you clarify for them what their expectations should be. The excitement level for the free breakfast offered to us did not match the offerings.
