The house contains everything you need for a retreat in a countryside village, but with 5-minute access to the beautiful market town of Olney and close to amenities of Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton. The house can comfortably sleep 7 and has two rooms suitable for children with a fun loft style double bed and football theme and the other with an optional trundle bed. The master has a modern ensuite and overlooks the large garden backing into fields, and the self contained downstairs annex has double expect entrances from the drive and sleeps two in privacy.
As well as the main kitchen / living area complete with wood burning stove and bi-folding doors onto the garden, there is a separate snug / TV room with a second wood burner and large landing where games can be played. The utility area provides a separate sink and side entrance, leading to the tranquil office area with its own French doors onto the main driveway.
The garden is a perfect family entertainment space, with large gazebo containing BBQ and fire-pit for warmer evenings. There is also a selection of children’s toys including a football goal and garden games.
The house can easily accommodate two families of four, and wifi internet and bedding can be provided plus all kitchen equipment which is of the highest standard.
Lavendon itself is a quaint English village, with two pubs and a village shop, but is also a 5-minute drive from the pretty market town of Olney, famous for its Pancake race and lace museum.
