"Sehr gute lage direkt Ponte Vecchio"

"The location is perfect for foot tours of the city center, situated between Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio. I was impressed by the size and comfort of my room that was attached to the large bathroom (two steps down) by a small lounge with a refrigerator and the coffee maker as well as a couch. There was noise from the street until late in the evening, but that is to be expected at such a location. Most of all, housekeeping was excellent with fresh towels every day and spotless cleaning. I do want to point out that everything is on different levels, there are many stairs to negotiate - this gives the hotel a certain Alice in Wonderland charm. I highly recommend this hotel for tourists and will gladly come again."

"Sehr schönes individuelles Hotel, Lage am Rand der City am “anderen”Ufer des Arno hat mir sehr gut gefallen. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche leckere Restaurants. Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Frühstück! Die Zimmer sind allerdings hellhörig, was aber nur auffällt, wenn man laute Nachbarn hat. Das Hotel selbst liegt wirklich ruhig. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut - ich würde das Hotel Freunden auf jeden Fall empfehlen."

"The hotel is located in a charming building about 20 minutes from the historic city centre. Very friendly staff all around. We liked the breakfast and enjoyed the happy hour with wine, beer and snacks that is being held every day. The room was clean. Unfortunately, our toilet broke one evening during our stay and would no longer flush. The issue could not be resolved (even though the friendly night staff attempted to fix it) so we resorted to using a public bathroom down the hall for said evening, the night and the following morning, which was somewhat inconvenient as we had to get dressed for our bathroom outings during the night. The toilet was fixed during the following day. As we were paying about EUR 300/night, I would have expected the issue to be brought up afterwards by management and/or reflected in the invoice but neither happened."

"WARNING: Do NOT drive here with a car unless you have a permission from the city! The location is INSIDE a "Zona Traffico Limitado". If you enter with a vehicle without permission, you may have to pay a three-digit-fine. The hotel is listed with "parking available". So, we assumed parking was available and drove here by car. As stupid tourists, we had no idea about the ZTL and after a long drive, we most probably entered the restricted area by driving to this hotel. We're currently waiting if we receive a fine or not. Anyway: The hotel should not have listed themselves as "parking available", which is by the way not at all the case. It's impossible to park here unless you have made a reservation in a completely separate garage. There was no information about the parking upfront, no warning, no guideline, no nothing. So, we were driving around for two hours and parked a good 20 minute walk away. Great, what a failure. But that wasn't all: The reception was NOT available even though it was listed as available. We arrived at closed doors. A "random" guy let me in after no one answered the door bell, and in hard-to-understand english explained that I can take an envelope with a key and go to the room. No ID asked, no checkin procedure. Next morning, we were supposed to checkin. The lady seemed rather uninterested. At the morning of the leave, we received the info that the reception was closed the day before at 5pm. What a failure. Top 3 WORST hotels I've ever had."
