3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer komfortable, gemütliche Haus, das 6-8 Personen. Kommen Sie ein paar Tage in diesem entspannenden, sauberes Zuhause in einer sicheren Gegend verbringen.

Das neuere Haus verfügt über 2 Wohnzimmer mit 42 "TV im oberen Wohnzimmer und 50" im unteren Wohnzimmer. Eine Ecke Kamin im oberen Wohnzimmer und ein Kristall Kamin mit einstellbarer Wärmeregelung im unteren Wohnzimmer. Das offene Konzept Küche gibt zu einem Wohnzimmer Weg und macht es für Zweisamkeit schön, während eine Mahlzeit zuzubereiten. Es ist bereit für den Einsatz mit Geschirr, neue Töpfe und Pfannen, und das Wesentliche zum Kochen oder Backen. Der Tisch bietet Platz 6 bis 8 und hat ein Blatt für bis zu 10 Personen Platz. Es blickt auf eine riesige Terrasse mit einem umzäuntes Hof und schönen Blumengarten mit Brunnen (nicht in Gebrauch im Winter); auch einen Grill und Terrasse mit einem Cantilever-Schirm eingestellt. Die untere Ebene hat eine neuere LG Waschmaschine und Trockner und eine get-away Platz für die Kinder vorhanden Fernseher oder DVD-Player und Videorecorder mit Filmen zu sehen.

Die Garage für zwei Autos hat eine Fernbedienung für einen einfachen Zugang in den unteren Wohnzimmer. Standing Bear Lake liegt in der Nähe von innerhalb von 5 Minuten, oder gibt es zwei Fahrräder, um es innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten zu fahren. Ein sehr schöner See, der Radwege bietet, Angeln, Picknicken oder zu Fuß.

KNOW before you stay here - all facts here, folks
I am a true believer in giving an honest and open review for others – not at all to bash the owners, or hurt someone’s feelings. Transparency and trust, for me, is vital with Vacation Home Stays – for both the customers and the owner/leasing company. This all starts with how the home is being presented in the posting: PRO’s: Rooms were tidy / Host was very gracious with toiletries – so nice / Decent location / Bunkbed was fun for kids / 2 sitting areas to watch TV – came in handy with kids / Netflix in the house – what a treat! CON’s: Personal check-in and “How-To’s” with the owner not all necessary in my opinion / King size bed that was stated in the posting had small print next to it that we missed – it is a tremble bed, not a king-sized bed / The house is dated - I believe the ad stated that the house is new – maybe it was the wording? It’s an older home, folks / The house stays very hot in summer in the upper portion of the home. This is just by the design of an older home, as the A/C is down in the basement, and the bedrooms at the top where we slept were not comfortably cool until after 2am – even on the second day. Really dirty comforters/bed cover with fresh brown smear marks on one, and had a huge amount of mucus or some kind of discharge from a human body. Was truly grossed out, and I had to smell and check all of the covers in the house that we were using. The hard part was trying to make my daughters feel comfortable after seeing this. Warm welcome and comfortable stay
Our stay was BEYOND amazing! Susan was a wonderful host. Her home was lovely and the best decision made in renting for this trip to Nebraska from Texas.. We were able to relax, watch movies, chat, and eat meals together. None of this is ever possible with hotel stays. We appreciate her for opening her home to us. We truly enjoyed it.

This is the second time we have rented this property when we go to visit grandkids. With 2 different living areas to gather, it allows different activities to be enjoyed. Grocery shopping closeby which is very convenient.

Omaha visit.
Our host greeted us and gave us an informational tour of the property, a very helpful touch. The property was very clean, and host even indicated we could us the gas barbeque grill on the outside deck, however, we did not have time to use it on this trip, but I thought it was a very nice offer.

This house was very clean and well decorated. We had to move some things to keep them from our grandkids and there were closets to hide the delicate items from peering eyes. Our hostess was very responsive to our needs and gave us good recommendations on groceries, parks, and left some stuffed animals, toys, and even a gate for the kids. We enjoyed our stay in this friendly neighborhood.

Great place to stay!
We had a great time staying at Susan’s place! It was very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed eating most of our meals in. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, I took many walks. The only suggestion I might have is curtains in the two bedrooms where there are only mini blinds, the sun beams in and woke us up, wasn’t a huge deal as we left early for ballgames most mornings. I would recommend this house and will stay again if we return to Omaha. Thank you Susan for the great stay!!

Other than the location being a bit remote from Charles Schwab field, this was a great staging option for my 3 brothers, 1 nephew and me, as we went into Omaha for the opening weekend of the Men's College World Series games on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Susan and Tim were wonderful hosts…we enjoyed the use of the garage opener. We had the family over for a small picnic and we all enjoyed the backyard. 1 hour checkin, smells like smoke, NO KING BED
After seeing many positive reviews, , we were shocked with our experience. We missed the reviews that referenced the "extensive" & "intrusive check-in" process. I've copied 1 below--as our experience was the same. A few callouts: 1) There's no King Bed. We specifically booked for it. Later Susan claimed that 2 separate twin beds, (separate) count. They do not. This is false advertising 2) Check-in. As vacation rental owners ourselves, we understand taking pride in your house. However, as parents with a toddler/infant, and it being your first night alone in 6 months, and you just want to finally sleep, having her spend what would have been an hour to show you everything in the house and how to use it, was insane. We attempted multiple times to bring it to a close, but she was insistent. To the point that when my husband said, "I'm exhausted, I'm going to bed now... 'goodnight' ... she followed him into the bedroom to keep explaining things. She then wanted to take our pictures. If you've got time & like hands on, you'll enjoy your hour + checkin. Otherwise, this is your WARNING. 3) Smoke. Not sure if she fixed it or not. BUT the house clearly had been smoked in. Both my husband and I have smoke allergies. We opened the window to try to air it out, but no use. Our eyes watered after being there for a short-time and we started getting headaches. We booked a hotel, didn't stay, and left shortly after she finally left. Pros: The house itself looked well decorated and stocked--if she fixes the smoke, you don't need a king, and you don't mind the checkin, it's probably great. Other Review: ***What I did not like was the extensive check in process which was done in person with the property owner. I have stayed at multiple vacation rental properties in the past, and have never actually met a property owner/manager in person, let alone to have had to spend 1 hour plus with them going over every detail of the home. Some people may appreciate the hands on approach, but I felt it was intrusive. The owner literally went through the entire book with us step by step, and made sure we understood all of the things that could break in the house if we didn't operate them properly (i.e. put the couch recliners down using the handle, the refrigerator door, the chairs on the deck-don't rock in them, the dining room table - don't put anything hot or cold on it that would make a white ring-use these trivets) and what it would cost if we did break them. ***

Susan's house is very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. She met us upon arrival, even though it was after midnight, to provide instructions and access to her home. The two living areas provided plenty of space for a family of four, including two who were working remotely during a portion of the stay.
