The space
Come and enjoy this renovated farmhouse in beautiful central Virginia. Thistle Hill House was built in 1842 and features many original details while equipped with all the necessary modern amenties. The scenic 90+/- acres grounds host views of Lake Anna. The house is surrounded by the farm's cow pastures. With much to do and explore in the area, this farm house is the perfect private location for a special event or a family get away.
Enjoy a quiet retreat, a family reunion, or a special event on the grounds. The farmhouse features 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 people. Bedroom #1 is a large master bedroom with a king bed featuring a private balcony. Bedroom #2 is equipped with 2 twin over full bunk beds, a closet, dresser, and a TV. Bedroom #3 holds 2 double beds and sitting area along with a fireplace and TV. There is a full bath with a tub and a shower located on the upper level. There is also a large front balcony to sit on and watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset.
The living room, kitchen, and dining areas are located on the first floor of the home. There is also a half bath located on the main floor. The front porch features a relaxing swing to enjoy anytime of day or night. The back sliding glass doors open up to a covered patio that overlooks the farm and surrounding barns as well as lake views.
Guest access
The drive into the farm is gravel and may not be suitable for smaller vehicles/cars durign times of inclement weather. There is gravel parking both at the front of the property as well as at the rear of the property. There are trails around the perimiter of the property. Guest may bring a golf cart or atv to travel around the property (must be pre-apporved with host before).

Host lives next to the property and is avaialable to assist or help with any guests needs or questions during their stay.....
