Orient Bay Gem
Wonderful location short walk to beach and restaurants at Orient Bay. Anna was a very attentive host, always available for questions and local advice. Home is very well equipped, and appreciated the cistern that more than covered us during a short public water outage that affected all of the French side during our stay. We never had any issues. If you're looking for a convenient and well equipped place in the heart of Orient Bay with an accessible host who goes the extra mile - don't hesitate!

Everything you could want
The location of this beautiful villa is perfect. Close to the beach and the restaurants in the village. All the utensils for cooking were there however we chose to enjoy the many incredible restaurants and beach bars. Anna was a wonderful host and provided all the information we needed. Her warm welcome was much appreciated. We would stay here again without hesitation. Orient Bay is awesome! And the food is out of this world!

Wonderful host, great place!
We loved the villa! It is spacious, well kept. Kitchen well equipped with appliances, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, spices. Honestly we did not cook, you have plenty great restaurants bistros and deli in walking distance. Walk to the beach will take you 2 minutes. Beautiful beaches with white sand.Superb place! We enjoyed European, French vibe.Our favorite in Caribbean.Anna our host was wonderful and helpful!

Over all we had a great time at Anna"s place. 4 minutes to beach 4 minutes to bars and lots of restaurants. Weather was hot every day so we did lots of beach days. There actually is lots to do in St Martin .island hoping zip lining hiking lots of great beaches and more. One thing to look out for depending where you are there can be lots of mosquitoes. Great place to go for a winter holiday.

Nice property, but was misrepresented in listing. Listing stated 3 full baths when it was 1 full bath on second floor, 1 bath with sink and shower, and a downstairs toilet and sink. Having two couples in two bedrooms and 1 toilet was not exceptable, every bedroom should have a full bath. Could be ok if a family with children didn't mind sharing a toilet . The location is perfect however, walking distance to great restaurants and some shopping

Great Tropical Beach Villa
My family spent a wonderful week (August 2022) in St Martin. The kids are in college now, so the days of having them sleep on the pull-out sofa in our hotel room are gone forever. It’s so nice to have 3 bedrooms, plus kitchen, dining and living room all for what you might pay for a single room. It is not a huge house, and does not have view of the beach, but there is plenty of space for a family, the beds are big and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the backyard is a relaxing, quiet tropical retreat. Best of all, it is just steps away from the gorgeous Orient Beach. In the daytime there are water sports, beach bars/restaurants that offer lounge chairs and beach service, plus a couple small local food spots. When the sun goes down, there are several fantastic restaurants. Throw in a great little French bakery/breakfast spot, supermarket, even take-out Pizza and Taco places, and you literally do not have to get back in a car unless you wanted to, until its time to head to the airport. Anna is fantastic host. She is very easy to get in contact with at any time, and seems to really be interested in making sure you will enjoy your time on the island.

Magical honeymoon!
We spent 10 wonderful days at Anna's property. The house was just perfect for us! The bed was very comfortable. The A/C worked well. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to make some meals at home. The pool was a great place to relax with coffee in the mornings, and for happy hour in the evenings. Orient Village is only a very short walk, and that is where we ate dinner most nights. The beach is also very close, so we watched the sunrise on a few of the mornings. We will definitely be returning to this property, hopefully for our anniversary!

Great location and lovely space
We had a wonderful stay at Anna's villa last week. Anna greeted us when we got there and was very available to us, including suggesting outings and helping arrange a rental car before we arrived. There are three nice-sized bedrooms and each had it's own A/C unit. You didn't need to use them until nighttime and then they cooled the room very quickly. The villa is located in Orient Bay. A short walk in one direction leads you to the beach and a short walk in the other direction leads you to the village, where there's a French bakery that's perfect for breakfast and several restaurants in an adorable courtyard setting. All of our meals were delicious, including going to Grand Case twice--a short 10 minute drive away. We highly recommend Quads and Furious ATV tours, my son and I jet skied from the beach and my son even sky dived from the Grand Case airport--and landed right on our beach. The water seemed to be cutting in and out on the island, but Anna has a very large cistern, so it was never a worry for us. It was great having a pool and private backyard to retreat to, for early morning coffee and for late afternoons when we were done with the beach. Anna really thinks of everything, from sunscreen and bug spray to coffee filters to the soaps in the bathrooms. We highly recommend this villa.

If you are looking for a great place to stay and a super host this is the place. The location is fantastic with lot's of great restaurants and a quick walk to the most beautiful beaches on the island. Anna was fantastic! Beautiful location, comfortable house
The location is wonderful! It’s a short walk to the beach and many terrific restaurants and shops. There are several great breakfast spots, plenty of dinner options as well as lots of music at night. This was my first time staying on the French side and it was truly lovely! Two things to be aware of- the owner requests cash for a “tax” outside of the VRBO application. I use VRBO often and was quite put off/concerned by this policy but she was infatic that it was standard and returned twice to collect payment. Other note is that there is an alarm on the pool. When we expressed dismay at this (it’s quite loud and would go off intermittently when we used it), she told our daughter that “someone from McDonalds could figure out this alarm”. Apparently, even if you shut it off it gets reset and it has to be shut off again after 20 minutes or so. (My apologies to the neighbors because it was quite loud for the first few days). The house was very comfortable with an amazing backyard. Beautiful plantings that surround the property and in a very safe area.

A Great Escape
There are two main aspects to share about this villa: Anna is a super host and she has provided us everything we needed (and even more), from little administrative things to recommendations about finding nice places, renting car and do special activities. Her support come before our arrival and it was continuous during our stay. This villa is located in the best place of this island. There is only 1-2 minutes from the villa to the beach and Orient Bay is the nicest area we have visited. Also the villa has everything you might need. My only regret was about the departure ! Great vacation
3 Norwegian couples stayed in this house for 2 weeks. First of all Anna is a splendid houseowner. Always ready to answer my questions and she was really there for us and made our stay a memorable one. The house is splendid and the location great. Only a few minutes walk both to the beach and to the grocery store. We made almost all the dinners in the house and ate outside by the pool. I will highly recomend this house. We did not hire a car. Using taxi or local bus was easy. So thank you Anna for letting us rent your beautiful house.

Great place to stay in orient beach. Beds were comfortable. No problems with a/c. 5 minutes or so walk to bars and restaurants by bikini beach and literally 100 yards from kko restaurant/beach bar. We will be back. And having your own pool was nice. After two full days at the beach. It was nice to relax and get less sun. Coming from the u.s. my phone was spotty on some parts of the island. Samsung note(verizon) Recommend you down load whatsapp to communicate with Anna. Trust the process. Street signs are minimal to non-existant on Entire island. Wonderful Place, Amazing location!
I recently visited St. Martin and stayed at this wonderful property. First and foremost, the owner - Anna - was absolutely amazing the entire time. She met us at the front gate after giving us great directions on finding the place. Once there, she showed us around the property and even walked us around the local area so we could get our bearings in this new location. The unit itself is awesome - 3 bedrooms including 2 king sized beds and several bathrooms (1 ensuite shower and sink setup, 1 full bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink, and one separate powder room on the first floor). This setup perfectly suited the needs of our family (3 adults, 1 five year old). The first floor is covered with bright white tile and when you walk in the front door you are immediately hit with an awesome view of the back yard pool and lounge area (big enough to host a decent sized gathering!). We used the kitchen a bit to make some meals and snacks and there are plenty of accessories for normal cooking requirements. The backyard lounge area is very private and perfect for those days where you may be feeling too lazy to head to the beach - which is unlikely given the location. The most attractive part of this place by far is the location. The time that elapses between when you lock the front door until your feet are in the sand is about 100 seconds. Within 10 more seconds you have an amazing view of the ocean right next to the newly rebuilt Kakao restaurant. You really can't go wrong! Other times, when we were interested in going to the village for quick shopping or dinner we took a slightly different route and arrived in less than 5 minutes. We always rent a car when in St. Martin so we can visit other places if the mood strikes us but this is definitely a rental unit that does not require a car. Everything you could want (groceries, morning snacks/coffee, restaurants, beach locations, etc...) is so close by. When it was time to leave, Anna came and met us at the unit and wished us well on our way. Overall we were very happy with the location, the unit, and the management of our stay. There were a couple of times where Anna wanted to have some things taken care of and she always gave us advanced notice and asked permission to enter the premises. We had a very enjoyable experience and look forward to renting this same place next year.

Anna's home was the perfect place to retreat into seclusion, yet be close enough to enjoy the very beautiful Orient Bay beach area. Anna promptly met us upon arrival and provided a grand tour of the local area including the all important local short cuts as well as her home. She was warm and welcoming and we couldn't have asked for a better hostess. Her home was clean, comfortable, well appointed and inviting. The back yard is private, relaxing and meant to be enjoyed. She was prompt in making sure a leaking AC unit was repaired and periodically checked in with us to ensure we were ok and enjoying ourselves. I would recommend Anna's home to anyone wishing to experience the charm and friendliness of SXM. The location is extraordinary!! You are a short 100 yard walk along the local sidewalk to Orient Bay beach as well as the center of Orient Bay's town center. I highly recommend you consider joining Anna in Orient Bay for a wonderful vacation!!

Decent Accommodations but Missed Opportunities 3.5 stars
We had a family of 5 stay for week before Christmas and enjoyed St. Martin immensely. The property was pretty good overall but nothing to get crazy excited about. It is difficult to find as no real address is published (on purpose by owner) so you have to call when you arrive to get "talked in". This would be fine but we are from the US so phone calls are not simple, and there is some language barrier due to heavy accents - it would be better to have some directions to give the taxi driver. The house itself is in fine shape but not well kept up or cleaned; several cockroach bodies, pool had small amount of algae (not a ton), hot tub water was a bit murky. Also, there was no welcome book that had information about the house or area (normal to have this, no?). The owner wanted to walk us around the area for a tour, but after traveling overnight for 16 hours an immediate walking tour didn't sound very appealing. A simple book with house info, maps of the area, store and restaurant info, wi-fi log in, how to work the crazy door locks, etc is an easy thing to have. The wi-fi router works but is at least a couple years old and not consistent. Also, if you are used to 120V you better pick up some 208-120 converters because there is only one in the master bath so charging devices with 3 kids can be a battle. There is a washing machine for clothes but no dryer (this might be normal for the island but good to know). The house is about a 3-4 minute walk to the beach down a path so that was close enough but from the VRBO it sounded like it was closer. We bought some food at the local grocery and made simple meals for some of the days. There was enough kitchen items to do this but only if the meals are simple. Side note: Out of two of the bedrooms is a big, beautiful patio (no ocean view) but there is no furniture on it so it was something that was definitely missed out on. If you stay here you can definitely have a nice time but there are a lot of missed opportunities so it was not "amazing" like it could be.

Great Place, Close to beach
Great place, clean close to beach and village. Magali was wonderful, she was easy to reach, if we needed anything and friendly. Would definately stay there again.
