This hotel is definitely not a 4-star experience! When I checked in at 10 PM on a Saturday, I was told there was no hot water until Tuesday. I was given the option to stay or find another hotel and contact Expedia for a full refund. I asked why no one informed me ahead of time, and they said it was because I booked through a third party and they didn’t have my information. That’s completely unacceptable. Hot water is a basic need, and any responsible hotel would make sure guests are notified in advance, regardless of how the booking was made. Since it was late and we had already bought groceries, my friend and I decided to stay. But things only got worse. When we got to our room, the shower head didn’t even work. We were moved to another room (supposedly the last room available) and had to unpack and settle in all over again. Then we discovered the room lock didn’t work. We gave up at that point, since it required a key card to open and we had early plans, but it was still very upsetting. On Tuesday, we finally got to enjoy one day of hot water. The next morning, we ran out of toilet paper. I called the front desk and waited 30 minutes, but no one showed up. On my way to follow up, I ran into a housekeeper and thankfully she helped. Still, the fact that the front desk forgot the request was frustrating. To be fair, some of the staff were friendly, but overall, I won’t be returning. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels and other 4-star hotels that were far better than this.
