The Ormondy Condominium is a Private Residential Building that includes the convenience of gated underground garage parking. The Ormondy is a non-smoking and non-pet community. Residents and Guests may not bring pets on the property.

Christmas with the grands!
We had a wonderful time. Everything was great! Enough room for us to spread out and enjoy ourselves! Having three bathrooms was wonderful! We enjoyed the balcony and saw dolphins! The kids enjoyed the water and beach. We even got to enjoy fireworks on the beach for new year's eve! Would most definitely stay here again!

This unit was perfect for five of us, all had their own bed and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked. But the best part was the balcony for sunrise coffee, afternoon happy hour, and the full supermoon rise at night!! Great communication before and during, quick responses. It was a perfect week. Wonderful Condo on the Beach
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect! Right on the beach with a big balcony. Ormond Beach is quiet and amazing~! The condo had big rooms, plenty of space and a wonderful kitchen. We travel with kids, so we are always worried about food. We cooked every meal in and the kitchen was perfectly accommodating. Thanks for the helpful things like a broom and dustpan (many places do not have this.) We used the washer and dryer, and we appreciated the big soft beach towels. We will stay here again! :-)

The condo is in an older building but is well kept. It’s lovely and the view is amazing. The beds are very firm which killed my back. Two beds in one bedroom are old and springy which was uncomfortable for my kids and horrible for my mother. The balcony would have been wonderful but it was covered in two inches of water so we couldn’t enjoy it.

Very nice condo , good location, good amenities
We were 8 friends for 40 years celebrating our friendship with a beach weekend. Condo was very nice, however we had issues with having possession of only 2 fobs to enter the building. With 8 women coming and going, we really needed to have better access to reenter the building at different times. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Nice condo, really enjoyed the beach and restaurants around the area. It's a great little beach town. My only complaint is many things in the condo and building are extremely outdated. But it was really clean and roomy. I would stay again.

The owner met us at check in, had us already signed in, made sure we knew where everything was and could find the necessary documents for an enjoyable stay. Great beachfront condo!
Our family of eight adults and one child under two absolutely loved our stay in Catching Waves!!! The kitchen is so well stocked, the sheets and towels are of the very best quality, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the entire place just works so well for our fairly large group. Being able to all sit at the table together was so very nice! Spotting dolphins each day from the balcony was our validation that we found our OB home! It is obvious that this condo is furnished with above standard quality items with the linens, appliances, etc. The location of the "owner" parking spot for beach access was a real plus! We hope to return, maybe even more than once a year! Thank you Kimberly and Al!

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The beach view was amazing & the unit was nicely equipped with everyday necessities. We got the impression that some of the residents of the building were not overly welcoming to children and vacationers, but we still had a great time at the property.

Beautiful!
This is a great condo — the pictures don’t do it justice. Kim is fantastic — prompt responses and very welcoming. The condo is large, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked — probably the best we’ve seen. The beds, pillows, and linens are top notch. The building and beach are quiet. And we fell asleep to the waves and the breeze. The pool is heated and well kept with plenty of chairs and space to lounge. You can sit on the large outdoor porch, sit on the beach, sit by the pool, walk on the beach ... many options! Be sure to visit Salty Farms just down the road — best seafood around. This is a great experience — don’t miss out!

LOVELY, SPOTLESS!!
We had six adults staying at this property. The owner Kim met us and showed us around and gave us some useful information. The house was spotless. This was extremely important to us in the time of Covid. There were more amenities in the unit than I have ever experienced in any unit through vrbo. It was perfect for six senior citizens to have a lovely time, their own rooms and baths, and perfect Beach access. It was a terrific location, very close to shopping but far enough from the crowds of Daytona beach. If I had anything to say that could improve this experience that would be that there would be more hanging space for towels in the bathrooms. Also in the master bathroom, it would be nice to have a safety bar to get in and out of the tub/shower combination. This would be very helpful and safer for us seniors coming in and staying in the unit. We will certainly come and visit again!
