Perfect Canadian getaway in the sunny Okanagan at The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake!

Welcome to paradise! The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake boasts a sandy beach and marina, a community center with multiple pools, and hot tubs. We are located at the north end of Lake Osoyoos, nestled in between several vineyards and cideries and downtown Osoyoos.

Please note, the new short term rental restrictions do not affect our cottage.

Our luxury home features 3 large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, open concept living and a fully enclosed, sun porch, that will comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. Our outdoor patio is equipped with a luxurious patio set and fire table for you to relax at the end your day with a glass of wine!

Need to bring your work with you? A dedicated work space is included as well!! Between the gorgeous Okanagan summers, and the cozy winters, our cottage is the perfect destination year round.

Enjoyable experience
This was our first time renting a cottage. We were amazed on the beauty of this place. There was everything we needed in the cottage. It was easy to walk around and go to the lake and enjoyed the landscaping. There wasn’t too many things open in February but we made the best of it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

We rented 2 houses, for 3 families. The house was well appointed with all that someone could and would need for a stay. Location was good , a bit far from the beach, walkable to the pool. Great location to do some bicycling, and good garage storage.

Beautiful home, well maintained. Does not have a lakeview, as advertised, that was disappointing. Pool was closed, no explanation on the doors, owner did contact us and told us why. The whole complex was very quiet and it was a restful stay. The beach is nice, but having no shade is unfortunate.

The house was clean, bright, spacious and well-stocked. It was the perfect place for our family…6 adults and two youngsters. Avril was quick to respond to any questions we had. Perfect family vacation
We really enjoyed this vacation rental. We were 2 families with 2 young children each and it worked very well for us. Extremely clean home with stocked kitchen (all of the dishes/tools we needed to cook for 8 people the whole time) and plenty of extras such as a wagon to carry stuff to the beach, lots of beach towels, a fire pit, some lawn games, etc. We thoroughly appreciated the property overall as well with the pools (including the shallow pool which was perfect for our 3 year old), the quiet atmosphere, extensive lawns, playgrounds, and the great beach. Oh, and proximity to great wineries didn’t hurt either!

Amazing place
We were 7 girlfriends who have been friends for 36+ years who stayed here to celebrate turning 50 this year.. we had an amazing time. The house has everything you need (except to go drinking cups). The pool area is great and the beach was awesome. We had an amazing time sitting around the firepit in the evenings. A wonderful place.

We have just returned for a wonderful and relaxing vacation and we stayed at the Osoyoos Cottages. Our place was amazing, fully stocked, home away from home. It was spacious, airy and very clean. The “cottage” is spectacular It is a large and modern 3 bedroom house that had everything we needed. It included beach chairs, towels, wagon etc. AC worked well which was appreciated. Avril had left a welcome package with treats and wine and toys for the kids. She was in touch with us to make sure that everything was ok. And everything was ok. Nothing negative to say. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Early summer vacation
We loved our stay at the cottage. It was a summer dream come true. We loved having breakfasts in the solarium, mid-day retreats inside the house to cool down and the proximity to the pool and lake. Our hosts welcomed us with the sweetest little welcome package for us and our kids and the house was super well equipped with games, little bikes, pool toys and a wagon for transportation. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for a fantastic week.

Summer Vacation Get Away
The Martinette Cottage exceeded our expectations in all areas. The home is like new, extremely well kept and immaculate. The Owners have a very high standard of care for their property and it shows in the details ranging from the Welcome Package at check-in to the quality of the furnishings to the little details such as good and sharp kitchen knives and plenty of fresh ice in the freezer. This is definitely a five (5) star property. Avril was always there and responsive to any questions we had and even out did herself by solving a tech problem we were experiencing connecting our phones to the home stereo system via bluetooth. This was our families first time staying at the Cottages on Osoyoos Lake and our only regret was that we didn't find this place sooner. In addition to the Martinette Cottage the private community has great amenities for both kids and adults and we felt welcome and part of the community despite not being owners. Our only negative experience was that for a reason unbeknown to us we had to book the home and pay in USD. For a property in Canada owned by Canadians we felt this was a bit of an extra cash grab, however when I compared what we paid overall, including the unfavourable exchange rate, we were in line with what other cottages in the same development were charging and in many cases I think we paid slightly less and are adiment that none of the other properties are as well appointed and managed as this. Once we realized this it was no longer a distraction. Looking into bookings for next year we see the property is now listed in CDN$ so this should not be an issue for future renters. If you've read this far what are you waiting for - book it. You won't regret it.

Our home for the week
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Martinette! We've been to Osoyoos a number of times and had always wanted to stay at the Cottages in Osoyoos and Martinette did not disappoint...it was nice just like the photos and very well decorated. The cottage was clean, well appointed with good quality big and small appliances, kitchenware and most things you needed. I really liked the plush towels. Our family of five adults and my two grandsons enjoyed BBQing on a number of nights and eating in the enclosed porch area where there are big windows with screens so you can open for fresh air. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent like OFF as this year's mosquito season is very bad due to the long and usual rainfall in the area this summer. We also bought Citronella candles to use when sitting outside to ward off those pesky insects. Avril is a good communicator and always prompt to respond to my text. Thanks Avril for being a great host!

Amazing place and stay
We booked this property for one week. The owners were fantastic and communicated with us throughout the whole process. When we arrived the cottage was clean, well kept and very organized. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our children loved the house and we had a great time as a family. The location of the house is good also. It’s close to the entry point and a 5 min walk to the pool and beach. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful Family Cottage
Our family very much enjoyed the stay at Avril and Ken's cottage. The home is very spacious, clean and was nicely stocked when we arrived with goodies. Perfect location
We rented with several friends for a self directed wine experience. Excellent location for driving and biking through the beautiful golden bench and black sage area with many excellent wineries. Host was very quick to respond to questions and the cottage was clean and well stocked. We stay mostly at VRBOs wherever we go, and this location was one of the best. Didn’t bring our 10 year old on this vacation but also great spot for those with kids. Would definitely book again.
