Our 1,000 sq. foot, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, pet friendly, cabin is located just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Ouray. This quaint residence, which was built in 1879, features a remodeled, fully stocked kitchen with modern appointments that complement the home's rustic mountain feel. It offers a truly Colorado mountain cabin experience, complete with a deck with great views of the Amphitheater and a gas BBQ grill. It provides hiking trails and recreational diversity, including snowshoeing and cross country skiing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, mountain biking, and many other recreational pursuits. Bed Configuration:
Master Bedroom - Queen Bed (Main Level)
2nd Bedroom - Two Twin Beds (Upper Level).
The main floor has a living and dining area, kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, and a full bath. The second floor has a sitting area with game table, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a half bath. The Seldom Inn has two TVs with satellite service, one in the living room and one upstairs in the second bedroom's sitting area. WiFi is also provided.
This home is pet-friendly. Guests are welcome to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs. The pet fee is $40.00, per night/$250.00 maximum.

Ouray, Colorado, nestled at 7,800 feet, offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
