We arrived to find the house closed up and very warm, hot actually. Outdated, worn out countertops with gunk around the old sink. No dishwasher and BIG roaches in the silverware drawer. All of it just felt like going to grandmas house… a year after she went to a home.
It was 8pm and 72 outside, 90 inside.
No A/C in the 3 bedrooms, stifling to others before us apparently , floor and window fans provided minimal relief. All of the home feels old.
All that being said, we spent most of time at the house on the lovely back porch. The new, clean grill was used daily.
Proximity to Volcanos National Park is a 30 minute drive, the back yard is lovely, but adjoins another home that cancels out its privacy due to its location deeper on its lot.
