The property is exactly as advertised in the pictures. My husband and I went to Palm Springs as a base for hiking and exploring the surrounding areas. Due to the pandemic, we did not spend any time this trip in the main drag/downtown area - if you mostly want to spend time downtown, this is probably a little further away than you would like for an easy walk, but it has other amenities like the pools and tennis courts that better aligned with our needs.
The good: This was spotlessly clean and well-maintained - truly spotless. Nice outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy a meal or read a bit. Decent kitchen ware - it has more than you would expect for this type of set-up, especially in the way of cookware. We especially loved that the coffee maker was not a K-cup set up so we could use our fave grind and get a decent brew. The condo is nicely decorated - very much a Palm Springs feel. The bathroom towels are nice, soft, and plush, I really appreciated the quality. Overall, it served our needs perfectly and we had a great 8-day stay.
The not so great: When we arrived, there were scented things everywhere - incense sticks, scented candles, even the garbage bags were Febreeze scented. As someone with allergies, this was unwelcome - immediate eyes watering, sneezing, and need for meds. We went through the entire place, found every smelly thing we could, bagged them up in Ziplocs, and placed them in a closed bedroom we weren't using, then opened up the windows to air the entire place out. If this is an issue for you, just be aware.
Also - it had no blow dryer - which was surprising considering how well it was otherwise equipped. We ended up buying one - found a good size Conair at the local drug store on sale at a surprising price, and left it in the master bath so it should be there for your visit! you are welcome ; )
The property is managed by McLean and they were easy to work with and responded quickly to emails/texts. Given our great experience, we will def seek this location out next time we are in Palm Springs, and would not hesitate to work with McLean again either.
