„I spent a peaceful, beautiful month in this special spot. Every day was gazing at wildlife from the deck or the big picture windows, overlooking the lagoon. Most every night was a picture perfect sunset. Within an hour, and right next door, are many state parks and wildlife refuges. The house was well furnished, great wifi, and very safe. There are many unique towns nearby to explore. Thanks so much to the owner for sharing this beautiful spot.“

„We arrived, got inside easily, loved the place. Cometh then the hurricane. Josh urged us to leave, told us why, and later refunded us the 3 days lost. „The house itself was beautiful, very clean, very well stocked with everything we needed, private and quiet. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. The pool was about a 5min drive from the house which was kind of a bummer, but the pool itself was nice! The beach access was a good walk away from the property and smelled terribly of sulfur. The ocean in this area is brackish water so it’s not the clear blue waters of the gulf. We ended up driving to St George Island one day (45min drive) ...

„Overall this is a cute, clean and convenient motel. Downsides are two things: First it's next to a commercial cement plant that is noisy in the morning. Second there are numerous drywall repair patches that were not even sanded before painting, baseboard and trim that is unfinished, tilework in the bathroom that is really bad and just an overall feeling of poor remodeling that appears the owners believed was "good enough". I would likely stay in Crawfordville next time unless their other rooms ...
