Every room needs deep cleaning/updating
Upon arrival (after a 6 hour drive) some of our family had to use the bathroom. After the 1st person used it the toilet didn't flush. Also the only bathroom in the entire unit is located through the master bedroom, so any other guests must walk through your bedroom to use bathroom. Anyways after toilet didnt flush i contacted the owner through the email that she said to use , as it was her quickest way to respond. Didnt get any response in a timely manner so tried to contact the maintenance/ cleaning crew that is recommended in her email (again no response). I called the owners phone and it goes directly to voicemail , then she sends you a text saying if its a maintenance issue to contact her maintenance people. So i called the numbers she provided, and their phones also went straight to voicemail. I also texted the maintenance people. Also no response. After about 2 hours we finally heard back from someone. Now mind you we have 4 people in the unit that just drove 6 hours and needed to use the 1 bathroom. So she said she would have her husband out in 10 minutes to take a look at the toilet issue. When he finally arrived he knocked on our door then went into the little room next to the apartment and had to turn the water on to the toilet. ?!?!? So they knew we would be arriving there that day by 4 but failed to turn the water on!? Also apparently had to turn on the hot water and told us we wouldn't have hot water for a while. Also entire unit is filthy but cant add photos.

The only complaint I have is the bathroom cleanliness. The toilet plumbing area are moderately rusted. There was also a cockroach that we had to kill when we arrived. There is also no bathroom mat provided. Water also will not stop leaking from the shower head. The rest of the bathroom is beautiful, however. The rest of the house is amazing and clean. Kitchen amenities and nice and beautiful.

We stayed here for two weeks. Kitchen has everything you’ll need and then some. Clean, comfy beds & pillows. Host were fantastic, employees on property were super nice & friendly. We extended our stay & host we’re phenomenal with quick responses. Yes, building is older but well taken care of. Everything worked & you can bring your pets. Very pet friendly. Beautiful beach

Very dirty and roach infested
This place was very dirty! Shower curtain was covered in mold, place has never been dusted EVER! Knives in kitchen were all rusted. Walked into bathroom turned light on and roaches scattered everywhere! Place needs 100% renovation! I highly suggest not staying here. We booked for 3 nights and stayed 1. We did get reimbursed for the 2 nights on the room but did not get service fee or cleaning fee back so I hope they take that money any do a major cleaning!

You need to know what's important to you
I'm a common sense kind of guy. In other words, I'm not a diva, and my expectations are aligned with with the cost/location/amenities promised in the listing. If everything is as promised, it's a 5 star, but anything other checks a 1/2 point off. I rate this property as a 4 star out of 5. So, the important items you need to know.. 1. You're on the beach. This is a plus for the money you've paid. Yes, you don't have a "beach view," but also know that the sand will make it's way into the condo. Matter of fact, the moment you step inside the door, you have brought sand in,,Don't blame that on the hosts. That's on you. This is expected, or at least it should be. Also, remember that you've paid less than $100. 2. You're on the beach, with your dogs. ***Like me, you have been searching for a property like this** Stop and think about how rare this is...You're taking your dogs to a beach friendly condo. This isn't normal in today's world. Consider yourself lucky to have found this place. 3. This is where I I put my critiques. I hope the hosts read this. 1. The sofa/chair/living room furniture...the furniture is a torture device from Hell itself. I thought of buying a $125 sofa from the Goodwill and donating it to the cause. Yes....it's that bad. The chair beside it is not different. Yes, it's that bad. Please make this right. There isn't a curtain for the bed in the lower floor opposite of the living area. For us, a party of 3, this wasn't a problem. It may be for others.

Had read some not so good reviews about music all hours of the night because of schuckums across the street and ac and cleanliness. We had ZERO issues with this place. The family karaoke across the street stays open till ten and we had a blast!! Being able to drink some beers, listen to music and literally walk less than 100yrds to your room was a 100% plus!!! Ac stayed ice cold! Everything worked just fine! Shower had hot water, not that you needed hot water! The beach being right out the back door was amazing my wife loved everything about this place! We will rent here again!!! Great location. Once we parked everything is in walking distance. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Beds full of sand and sheets were stained. Dishwasher was full of unwashed dishes. Pans with food were placed back in the cabinet. Shower curtain had broken rings and mold on the curtain itself. 4 towels for 5 adult guests. Thick dust all over everything. Fridge has stuff stuck to the shelves. Cannot stand upstairs if youre above 5 foot 8. Lights from awning blind whoever is sleeping in the living room. Weird ceiling fans in loving room do not move air and extremely loud. The timer on the lights is also broken so they come on about every 2 hours while youre trying to sleep. Master Bedroom had no tv remote. Listing was very deceptive all the way around. No elevators. Bathroom is in master bedroom which is inconvenient if you have alot of guests. Host does not respond to your messages. Definitely would not recommend.

Overall I have stayed at this condo twice now and the first time I stayed it was very nice and clean. The second time (the most recent) I was disappointed to find empty food wrappers and old food under 2/3 beds. There was also something sticky all over one of the counters. The host had very good communication prior to my arrival and stated if I had any issues to please contact within 24 hours of our arrival. I message the host about the trash and food under the bed but I never received a response. Other than those things the condo was nice being on the beach and not far from pier park. Also within just a few minute walk to several restaurants and stores. One down side to the location is a karaoke bar is right across the street and you can hear loud music playing pretty late into the night.
