„We spent 4 nights at the Kings Head and it was a perfect place to stay. The newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine and very roomy, and the breakfasts were delicious, especially the local sausages. Stepping into the bar was like going through a time portal into the 1600's: there was a cozy fire burning, low beamed ceilings, and pewter tankards hanging from hooks. Walkable to a very good local, friendly pub (The Chainbridge Inn) (0.9 mile) and even closer to a nearby restaurant. The hosts were welcoming and provided an easy contactless check in. Excellent.“

„Good old pub. Family room large, and nice that it was provided with pods / machine for coffee and hot chocolate, and a kettle for the tea. Extra orange and apple juice, as well as milk in a fridge in the hallway. Local drinks available and we later sat by the fire. We had eaten earlier in the day so did not try and evening meal, but they were booked out Bed was firm and comfy, and we slept well. Cooked full "Miner's" breakfast in the morning, with mostly local produce was great. Other foods ...

„The Hotel was ok. When we arrived I gave the license plate of the car at the reception but we still got a trafic violation ticket for parking at the parking lot of the hotel. That was pricy and annoying, because we had a rentel car and where charged extra by the rental car company. When I asked Reglan Lodge to help sort this out, I didn't even get a reply. So thanks for the stay that now costs us mmore then 3times the hotelprice! “
