„What a wonderful stay we had! The house was so comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the brisk mornings on the porch and the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens. The scenery and landscape in the area are breathtaking. Every turn provided another incredible view of the water. Fishing Creek is close to so many beautiful, quaint towns along the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommend!“

„We had a chance to spend the weekend with our kids (age 18 and 20), and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The view was spectacular and the home was perfect. It was so peaceful and relaxing, yet there was so much to do—fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, ping-pong, darts, board games, the list goes on. Everyone had a fantastic time. The only problem is that were only there for three nights!“

„Nice short getaway with the wife at this lovely cabin. Very relaxing and peaceful in a great setting. Only downside was not being able to enjoy the dock as there was another family with kids that occupied it most of the time that was staying at the other cabin on the property. Also, not a clear view of the water from the porch due to the trees but all in all it was a great stay. “

„Our vacation on Chesapeake Bay was wonderful. The house was clean and comfortable. It is an older home, but we loved the character and charm. There is a very large yard for playing, bikes and some board games/puzzles that we enjoyed. The island was very quiet so made for a relaxing vacation. „We wanted a peaceful, quiet, secluded property for a last minute getaway and Thunderstick Farm was all that and more. This lovely home has a large bank of windows in the family room overlooking the water. Great for relaxation and bird watchinge. We spent most of our time on the water in the provided canoe and kayaks. The hosts are extremely easy to reach and very helpful. Hope to go again with our entire family “

„For a last minute booking for World Cup Finals, this was perfectly fine. 30-35 mins to MIR. The front desk was extremely helpful after I found out somebody was getting in late & I needed to leave a key to the room for that person. They were always friends. They also changed the hours of the continental breakfast to earlier to accommodate those who were there for the race weekend. I travel A LOT. Not all last min bookings are so nice in general hotel/ motel locations.“
