Get away from it all and explore your own slice of the Ohio wilderness at this 1-bathroom 1 bedroom custom rustic cabin. This Patriot vacation rental is very secluded and is the perfect retreat for hiking, fishing, hunting, and relaxing in nature. Bring a boat and hit the water at Timber Ridge Lake or Raccoon Creek, fire up the gas grill to cook dinner, then head inside to warm up by the wood-burning stove. End the night unwinding on the porch watching deer and wildlife or stargazing by the fire pit. If you long for peace and quiet and disconnect from the fast pace life then here you go!

Absolutely want to return
This was an excellent experience! Be sure to write down the gate code and door code before signal is lost. Otherwise, you will have a 10 minute drive to gain signal enough to look it up. Property is beautiful and peaceful! We left the board game "sorry" and the movie "passengers". Hope to see what else is added when we return!

Great Get Away!!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for what I wanted! Secluded. Quiet!! Peaceful! An absolutely wonderful get away spot. Loved the fire pit. And the grill came in most handy! Excellent communication with the owner and he made sure all was well with my stay. I highly recommend this cabin for a nice get away!

Great stay at a private secluded cabin
If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to do it! Very private, quiet (few to no human noises), ample nature. The cabin is clean and well maintained, and the facilities worked perfectly. The drive through rolling hills and farms was a joy. The hosts were available but never intrusive. Wonderful stay overall.

Stunning!!!
Absolutely stunning property! We can’t wait to book again. The trails, fire pit, cabin design and seclusion were all so serene and beautiful. The cabin has all you need for a beautiful time away from the fast paced world. It is peaceful, quiet and best of all no cell service. It’s an amazing place to disconnect from the “outside” world and reconnect with nature and in my case my husband. We loved waking up Sunday morning to a beautiful view and rocking on the porch with a cup of coffee and hearing nothing but nature.

Secluded piece of Heaven
First impression: The owner contacted me prior to our arrival to introduce himself and go over important information: location of the internet antenna, quality of cell svc, fire pit & wood burning stove recommendations, along with availability of complimentary items for use (popcorn, water, DVD's ect). He was very informative & insisted if there are any questions or concerns to contact him without hesitation. Prepared but not prepared: We arrived around 11:30pm & the over preparer I am did not over prepare out of excitement...lol Upon our arrival I did not have cell svc (T-mobile) to retrieve the gate & cabin codes, however thankfully my boyfriend did (Firstnet). I texted the owner around 11:35pm & immediately received a quick response with the codes. That was not only a relief, but an example of the time & care the host takes to personally ensure a stress/worry free stay. Our stay: Regardless of the arrival time we were so eager to settle in...we started the fire pit & relaxed by the fire with a drink listening to nature. No phone, no cars, no sirens (we are from the city), nothing at all...just you, whoever has the pleasure of accompanying you, & nature.🙏 The cabin was so cozy & the details of craftsmanship - beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, & plenty of windows for natural light during the day. It was nice to wake up on our own, brew a nice cup of coffee, & rock on the porch. Next the outdoor shower: simply incomparable

Peaceful getaway for two
We enjoyed the beautiful hiking trails with a few little grassy spots that we could have had a picnic. We enjoyed sitting by the firepit under the stars and ventured out our last day to a nearby creek to fish. This place is truly beautiful and peaceful. You will never want to leave.
