Woodsy Coastal Escape

Come get away to a newer home that is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean (8 minute drive) and the Waccamaw River (1 mile).

It is in a quiet and peaceful area (on a dirt road), yet close to amazing restaurants, shops, Myrtle Beach (a half hour north) and historic Charleston (an hour and a half south). This is a perfect neighborhood for those who love to golf, and you are welcome to park your boat in the driveway.

The house and garage are equipped with beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for kids. The house also has some board games, puzzles, and DVDs.

The owners might sometimes be staying in the guest house above the detached garage, but you will have the whole house to yourself. The only thing that would be shared would be the garage and maybe a little driveway space. Feel free to use the bicycles in the garage! Make yourselves at home!

A little get away in beautiful South Carolina
Amazing home. More than we expected. The master bedroom bathroom/shower was impressive. The house has great natural lighting, quiet neighborhood, plenty of open space indoors and outdoor for family and friends to visit. Near plenty of restaurants and local must do locations. The owners were very attentive and welcoming. We will be back!

This house was clean, comfortable, and large enough for 3 women to enjoy one another’s company yet have privacy when needed. There are a lot of trees so not happy with the spiders that met us…LOL. But we would definitely recommend this property. Though the owners live on the property above the garage, there was no interference or awkwardness.

Beautiful Home. Very relaxing!
We stayed at Woodsy Coastal Escape to celebrate our granddaughter's 4th birthday. It was myself, my husband, son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter & grandson. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen is perfect. Has everything you can think of & more. Beds were comfortable, showers great, AC worked perfect. Communication was excellent with the owners. We highly recommend this house. We hope to make it back!

Hosts and house were great for a week stay! The house had a perfect line up for us and our two kids. Kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook in. Lovely Pawley's Island Stay
We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Pawley's Island home. The setting is very similar to Martha's Vineyard for those familiar with the island. This spacious, clean home was perfect for our family of 4. Really appreciated the first floor master and the laundry facilities. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. As for Pawley's Island, it's a nice place to stay if you want to be near Myrtle Beach, but not in the hustle and bustle. Huntington State Park has excellent beach access. The beach was incredibly clean (no seaweed, shells, etc.) and the water was very warm. Beware that this is a car required area. You must drive everywhere. Overall, wonderful stay at a this lovely home. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
