„We really enjoyed our time at this location. We did some fishing and also enjoyed going to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Enclosed patio was nice even though we only had 15 minutes of rain during our stay. “

„The drive into the neighborhood was kinda sketchy at first. Driving way way back into what starts out looking like a trailer park with red trash cans that line the street. Then moving farther back into the neighborhood it changes into small houses. Then down sand dirt roads, through the soft sand driveway to the locked gate. „The cabin was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were disappointed in the lack of a usable fireplace and not enough firepits for every cabin to have one. The room was renovated halfway. The bathtub, shower, counters, and sinks were beautiful and new. The cabinetry and especially the refrigerator need to be replaced. The nearby small town was cute and quaint. The walk around DeFuniak Lake was a favorite activity. Everything in the town is closed on Sundays by 2 p.m.“

„Very small beautiful place. It work for us but wished we had known about a few things. No TV so we could not get local news. We left a day early because of a hurricane was in the gulf. The kitchen isn’t great only small toaster over and microwave No other way to cook anything. Be sure to check in before dark because the cabin is very hard to find. The owner quickly replied to all of my messages. . If you are looking for a quiet and solitude place this is for you. “
