Property managers don’t care as much as Owners
I have rented many homes through HomeAway and VRBO and owners always give a better experience than property managers.
Property is in need of many repairs. The people that clean the home can easily see this and report back.
Everything provided was at a minimum. No hand soap in the bathrooms, during COVID this should be a standard. We like to clean up after ourselves frequently during our stay, There was no broom or dustpan to do so.
Of the three full bathrooms only one shower worked properly. In the master bath shower head was loose and we found out later there was a major leak coming from the shower through the ceiling fan to the living room floor. The second shower continuously leaked and the handle was so stiff we thought it would break if we try to operate it. Again the cleaning crew would have noticed this.
The dining room chairs were old and rickety. The backrest of one of the chairs separated.
The kitchen overall was OK. But there was a lack of cookware which limited you. They could use a few more pots and pans. The cutlery was an embarrassment to say the least. I used a fishing knife to do most of the cutting which was sharper than anything in the house.
I don’t consider a Keurig a coffee maker when there’s more than two people drinking coffee. The K-cups polite the environment. It would’ve been helpful to be more descriptive. I went out and bought a coffee maker and filters.
They never mentioned anything about the noise coming from the road if you have a window open. There’s a constant flow of traffic, not what I want to hear when on vacation.
The fees from Finger Lakes Premier properties was gouging. Owners provide better homes and services.
