„Lovely setting overlooking the Illinois river. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and seating for our family reunion. The fireplaces indoors and outside were great. We loved the piano, which was in tune, for our sing alongs. And the large deck outside was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee and bird watching on the river. The water supply is from a well so bring bottled water for drinking and coffee making if you don‘t like the heavy iron taste of well water. Make sure to catch sunset over the river.“

„This little cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house was warm and had everything we needed. The refrigerator had water, condiments if needed. I slept just as good as if I was sleeping in my own bed. Great place to stay.“

„The place was very clean, a lot of really neat artwork and lighting. Upstairs family room, kitchen, deck and bedroom were great. Great views of the river. Listing says “2 bedrooms” , that’s not correct. My sister in law only stayed 1 night due to the lack of privacy.” 2nd bedroom” is in the basement and 2 feet from the ping pong table. No dressers or privacy door to be a true bedroom, just a folding panel. Nice place but inaccurate description. Felt presser to give a 5 star rating since ...

„We enjoyed the proximity to the coffee shops, the local shopping and restaurants! The place was very neat and tidy, although small it is very nicely decorated. I would recommend this house to others. The only thing I would say needed to be improved upon is the sheer curtain over the front door didn’t provide much privacy so we put a sheet over it“

„We had a great stay for a group of 4 in this cosy little home. Attended a wedding and room for us to get ready. Walking distance to Prospect Ave and plenty of restaurants. The walkway behind was pretty this time of year. “

„We enjoyed everything about our stay. Clean, comfortable, thoughtfully equipped with everything. The information book is very useful. It even contains menus from several restaurants! The view is amazing!To watch the sunrises over the Illinois River made getting up early worth it!😊 We will definitely return.“

„The property was very nice and the host was very nice and helpful. Only minor setback was availability of plug ins in the bedroom. Needed an extension cord or power strip out to be usable. House was extremely clean and had all we needed. I highly recommend the property if you are needing a place to stay in Peoria heights. “

„The house was very clean and the instructions were perfect. There was plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The gas log fireplace was perfect since it was cold and rainy. “

„The place was even better than expected! We had a group of over 40 family members of all ages and fit comfortably. In the diner area we had more than enough space to ring in the new year and spend quality time together. The rooms were clean and the themes were very cool. The game room was a huge hit with kids and adults alike! Pete was the best host! He was very accommodating and willing to assist with any odds and ends. We will certainly be returning to Medley Manor! “

„The property was as advertised visually but thin walls and noisy neighbors were very unfortunate keeping us up when we had busy days ahead. Easy access to Louisville Sluggers complex close to restaurant to drive to.“
