„We were looking for a new location to stay on Red Creek and picked this one due to its location/‘private’ beach. Although the beach is ‘private and secluded’ from the public it is shared with two other cabins. We were there while another large family stayed in the other cabin, making the beach not so private and noisy. „I travel often for work therefore we stay in lots of VRBO’s. I can not tell you how perfect this home is. From the minute you walk in. There were packs of grits, oatmeal, coffee pods and snacks left for us. After getting in late this was such a treat. Every single detail… The owners left us two cords of wood for the fire pit. „Wendel’s Place was the perfect place for my family to spend a relaxed week on red creek with my family. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable and location is to die for. It’s quiet with a great view of the river and you can easily float from the cabin to City Bridge in two hours (good trip for small kids). We will be back. Probably soon.“
