We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. We weren't there on holiday so didn't get chance to explore the town or area properly but hope to do so on future visits.“

„Wir haben zwei Nächte als Zwischenstation in der Unterkunft verbracht. Für uns war es der perfekte Ort um durchzuatmen und abzuschalten. John ist der perfekte Gastgeber! Wer länger in der Umgebung bleiben möchte den können wir das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen. Liebevoll eingerichtetete Unterkunft mit allem was man so braucht.“

„We would generally stay in hotels / Prem inn etc - but decided to try something different. The location was very convenient. The property was delightful - well appointed - very charming It was spotless. An added touch was access to Netflix and Amazon. Nice pub in the village too Would stay again if work commitments take us to this part of the world again. Would highly recommend this property. “

Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. A code for the key safe was e-mailed and sent via text at 1pm of day of arrival, but we had no notice that this was to be the process and we had to chase ...

„Very large property, lots of space in kitchen/diner and two living rooms, plus utility room. Family party of seven seniors, felt very at home here. Kitchen had just about everything, you just had to find where things were. Four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin bedded. Onsuite bathroom with the master bedroom. Fairly large secluded garden, with several outdoor seating areas. Quiet area, easy parking for 3 – 4 vehicles. Very quick responses from excellent, obliging host. Only improvement ...

„There was really little to recommend this property. There was an appalling smell in the bathroom (presumably from the drains) which permeated into the lounge area. The area wasn't very nice. It was up two flights of stairs which wasn't easy for me to cope with. There was an issue on check-in as the email that was sent an hour before did not correspond to the actions required for the parking space and we had to ring up about it.
