LAKE FRONT---NEWLY RENOVATED!!!! A fisherman's paradise with a cozy cottage the whole family will love! GREAT LOCATION on historic Lac Vieux Desert. This gorgeous 4,000 acre lake has it all...amazing fishing (of some of the most desired fresh water species, including tiger muskies), kayaking, water sports, relaxing or easy fishing for the kids by the crystal clear shore. This cozy cottage is conveniently located to nearby supper clubs, bars, atv/biking trails. It's also just a short drive to Eagle River, a casino and golf resort. This fully furnished property is also equipped with a pier for 1 guest boat, fire pit, hammock, 2 kayaks and a canoe to use at your leisure!

All the adjectives…Beautiful, Peaceful, Amazing!

Honestly, this is the best cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was updated and beautiful. The setting was serene, quiet, and had a wonderful lake view. Very attentive & friendly host! We did not lack for anything, and we were very lucky, to view the northern lights right outside of our door, shining over the lake! 💕

Great Cabin for your stay

This was a perfect spot for our long weekend getaway. Very clean comfortable cabin with everything that we needed. Great location on the lake. Thanks for having bumpers on your dock and poles to tie up our boat. Most places do not consider that. The fishing was really good and a nice fire pit to come back to after fishing all day to enjoy the evening. We would love to come back. We had a great time there.

Beautiful

Beautiful and comfortable cottage on a beautiful and relaxing property. Enjoyed fishing off the pier, kayaking (sit on top kayaks), and slept wonderfully. Even able to capture some photos of the northern lights. Would gladly return in the future.

Fabulous week up north

We've stayed in this cabin before and it is always well kept. Enjoyed a week of incredible weather, very good fishing, a nice campfire, and peace. Not to mention good food and a cocktail or two. Highly recommend this place for a couple or a small family.

Lake life perfection !!

This waterfront cabin was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for . The owner , Jason could mot have been a better host . From the directions for arrival to accommodating us with a late check out on a special occasion, Jason made sure our stay was fabulous . The cabin is super clean and cozy . It is equipped with all the basics and a complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice surprise . The view out the dining room window is breathtaking . There is a bonus fish shack where you can clean your catch of the day! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Week

Owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. They answered all questions and provided great places to eat. They also gave helpful information about the lake and fishing spots. The cabin itself was clean, furnished nicely and comfy for a relaxing stay. Kitchen had all things needed and then some. Peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful week and we will definitely return.

End of Summer get away

This place offered everything we needed. Peaceful setting, wildlife, nice size lake, dock and lake area to float in, and short drives to daily excursions and shopping. Me and my two daughters had an amazing time playing in the lake, exploring Bond Falls which is close by, shopping and photographing the amazing sunsets. The property was very clean and had great parking. It was the perfect size for the 3 od us and we would have had room for my son as well. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the hosts responded very quickly. Both my daughters agreed our stay was too short and can’t wait to go back.

Great lake cabin

Cabin was very comfortable and clean. Great view of the lake, with access to the water from beach or pier. We had a nice time canoeing on the lake and doing some casual fishing from the pier. The location is an easy drive to Eagle River and Land o Lakes for groceries, restaurants, etc. Also accessible to Bond Falls (UP MI), Blackjack Springs (Phelps), and Porcupine Mountains for hiking. We enjoyed our stay at the property. We put our boat in at the landing a couple miles away and were able to leave our boat tied up right outside the cabin. It was quiet and neighbors were friendly. The cabin is very well maintained along with the property. We hope to be back next year.

Relaxing Stay

Cute little cottage - enjoyed our stay. The only thing I missed in the listing is that bath towels are not provided, so we had to go out and buy some. For the rate charged that should be included. But other than that they have everything you need. Location was great, dock for our boat, close to many amenities.

Fall getaway 2023

This is the second time we've stayed at this cottage and it was as enjoyable this year as it was last. Cottage is clean and cozy. For us, it is perfect. I almost hate sharing as I'd hate for it to become so busy we don't get it next time we can sneak away.

My husband and i stayed here for a long weekend. It was bliss. We rode 450 miles in Wisconsin and Michigan on our UTV (trails are accessible from the cabin), fished, had a campfire and enjoyed local restaurants. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Great Cottage and location!

The cottage was amazing! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. The fishing off the docks were great, we caught northern pike, perch, and sunfish. The location was perfect for everything we enjoy doing from hiking to some waterfalls in the UP to visiting Little Bohemia in Manitowish Waters for dinner. We spent time in Eagle River, Rhinelander and Minocqua as well. It's a great central location for all those areas. Also, there are 2 casinos near by if you are into those. The cottage was spotless when we got there and appears to be well maintained. Communication with the owners was flawless and they are very responsive to messages. My only complaint is that it's not large enough to bring my 3 kids and their significant others with us next time! I highly recommend "The Fishing Outpost" on HWY 45 in Conover for anything fishing related, Pete is a super nice guy and helps out a ton.

We enjoyed our vacation. The cabin was super close to the lake and the docks, which was nice so the kids could fish whenever they felt like it right from shore. The Internet reception was surprisingly better than what we expected, we had no problem streaming movies at night. Would definitely stay here again!

We take a yearly trip to Lac Vieux Desert with family at close by cabins. We had the most relaxing time at this cottage. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed. The cabin was so comfortable i hated to leave! We will for sure be staying again!

Home away from home

The rental had many amenities. We appreciated having a full sized refrigerator as we always seem to bring too much food. Also having an air conditioner made my husband and son happy, although we only had to use it once to cool down the kitchen. They also appreciated having the WI-FI and smart tv. The modern updates and cleanliness made us very comfortable. The guys used the fish house for the daily catch. Fishing was great. We had a great time and will hopefully be back.

Great cottage and location

We loved this cottage!! It was everything described and more, perfect for my husband, teenage son and me. There was more room than I expected and it had everything we needed. There was a drawer of miscellaneous things that was ideal for when we needed batteries. The next time we ran into town I simply replaced what I used. The cottage was super clean and the furniture was modern and comfortable. My son and husband did a lot of fishing (catching!!) off the dock in the evening when we weren’t out in our boat. The hosts were so kind and ensured we didn’t need for anything!! We ran into a situation where we needed to get our boat towed to the landing and they helped us look for someone to assist. This cottage is certainly one of the better ones we stayed at and we will definitely be back!!
