Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We were within walking distance of Septa and there were plenty of bus routes nearby. There were a lot of food options within walking distance and a Walgreens up the block.
As for the apartment, it was clean and comfortable. Perfect for two people. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, if you plan on staying for an extended period, know that the cookware is adequate for small meals, like frying an egg or making soup. You’re not going to have what you need to make an elaborate meal, which is okay because the food choices in the area are great. Definitely check out Jim’s West a couple of blocks away for a Cheesesteak.
We stayed for 10 days after my husband had a medical procedure at Penn Medicine. The property management was very responsive when we had an issue with the WiFi. They sent a technician to our apartment to fix the issue after hours. They communicated with us whenever they were doing maintenance on the building. I was very happy with their professionalism and level of service.
The building is older and very well maintained. The outer door had a keypad lock, as did our apartment. The hallways were clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is an older neighborhood and the buildings show it. We felt safe the entire time we were there. People were friendly. My husband and I were happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again.
