„Everything from the listing and reviews was accurate. We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, on our last full day we were locked out for over an hour when the batteries for the lock died. The host was responsive, and we were able to get back in; however, my daughter-in-law was unable to respond to work issues while her laptop was locked inside. We also missed part of the Columbus Blue Jackets game due to dealing with the lock issue.“

„Nice house, well-maintained and clean. Location, off an alley, is very convenient. The house was listed as having two twin beds, and there was only one, but the owner is in the process of renovation and maybe did not note this. Not a big deal, we didn’t need it. The house was all we needed and is located less than two miles from Dayton’s campus, so it worked out well. Thank you for everything!“

„This was perfect location for our stay. We had a wedding to attend and it was a quick wkend trip. We had trouble with booking via vrbo site itself and the owner was great to work with over that. The kids enjoyed the game room, the train nearby didn’t sound as close as it was and wasn’t a problem for us . This was perfect location for our stay. The airforce museum is right accross the street , and Pettitbon coffee is like a mile down the road (highly recommend). We would stay here again.“

„The property was everything we could have asked for and more! My kids had a great time swimming in the pool and exploring the grounds. The pool cover quit working while we were there and the owners came right out to try and fix it. Extremely nice people I might add. Will certainly visit again!“

„The location was perfect for our needs but very busy train tracks. Spacious with high ceilings and comfortable furniture and beds. Small bathroom with great hot water. Coffee maker didn’t work well and would benefit from new carpet. The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed. Filtered water in fridge was welcome. “

„Host is terrific with communications. A few minor issues with the house - no bathmats, window blind in bedroom with a desk is broken, couldn't get dishwasher to start at checkout, and two ice trays isn't enough for several adults. Shower stall in first floor bathroom is tiny. Living room couch is tired.“

„This is a nice, comfortable home close to the UD community and attractions. The neighborhood is very quiet with very little traffic. Street parking was always available. We would recommend this property for short visits to the UD area. “

„Everything was as stated….would stay again!“

„The rental was not without merit but for every positive there was a dissapointment. The shower was nice but the bathmat was stained from water that repeatedly soaked it from the water that leaked from the door. It had a nice covered front porch to sit on but it was questionable if you wanted to use it. One example was a man yelling as he walked with a long stick hitting signs and posts as he brisky walked up the street. It had a coffee pot but only 2 cups that held hot liquid and did not leak. ...

„First of all i would like to start with saying that the owner of this property is very generous. We walked in and saw a basket filled with snacks, and thank you note. Secondly the communication with the owner was very easy, he easy very helpful. He recommended places to go to and activities we can do in the area. Lastly he is forgiving we caused a small damage, and he forgave us.“

Good for a short stopover

"Got the last room with two beds, had to change the next day cause the floor was soaked. Staff was helpful and tried to accommodate our needs. Good place for a quick weekend stopover in Dayton. Breakfast is poor though, don’t expect much and ends already at 9. "

Das Zimmer war in Richtung Autobahn und deshalb sehr laut. Das Frühstück war gut bestückt, aber am letzten Tag gab es eine halbe Stunde vor Frühstücksende keinen Kaffee mehr. Für den Preis hätten wir mehr Service erwartet. "
