Hotel has definitely seen better days, it did not look this run down inside prior to the last renovation! The entire hallway smelled, & not pleasantly! My room had no TV remote, when another room was offered, it, also, did not have a remote for the TV. The person at the desk did not know how to re-program the TV remote, instructions should be printed out & laminated for them to use! As has been the case for a decade with this hotel, no luggage cart was accessible. Making everything but the front entrance an alarmed emergency exit only is VERY HOSTILE FOR THOSE OF US TRYING TO USE THE HOTEL & HAVING ANY LUGGAGE WHATSOEVER!!
This was the first time in a decade of using this hotel that I saw roaches running across the floor in broad daylight, there were also ladies at the front desk complaining of roach infestation in their room as I was trying to resolve the TV remote situation.
I normally have meetings in my room, this was the first time in a decade I was embarrassed to have to use this facility. Without a very sharp upward change in this declining direction, I no longer, after a multi-year association, feeling comfortable using this hotel.
Tried to speak with the hotel manager, Michael, after checking out, he was extremely difficult to reach & then seemed unconcerned about the situation I encountered during my stay, alas, customer service seems deceased.
