„Drive to shelter Cove was brutal. Location of hotel was good but the description of the room was inaccurate. Panoramic view was parking lot, front lawn and large pine tree. Ocean view was seen when standing in a certain spot in the room and observing a small wedge of ocean. The room was clean and comfortable but overall disappointing.“

„This was a great place right on the ocean! So comfortable and beautiful amenities. Kitchen was well equipped and very modern. The views from every window were amazing. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hot tub was ocean front and fit all six of us comfortably.There are three flights of stairs to get to the kitchen, we didn't have an issue with that, but renters should be aware of that.I would stay there again in a heartbeat! „This cottage was absolutely amazing, and perfectly suited my need for a beautiful, comfortable environment in which to rest and dream. The house was clean and well kept, and I’m not sure there could be a better setting for a small VRBO on the entire California coast. The owner was responsive and caring. Wonderful!!! “

„We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!“

„Spacious home with all the desirable vacation amenities. The house was large enough for a gathering of at least 10 people if not more. There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house ...

„This property was fully equipped, has beautiful views of the ocean sitting above the road, is two stories ,has a deck on second floor and is walking distance to state beach. While water is reported potable it has a horrible color, which the owner fully disclosed so take you drinking water. “

„We have stayed at this rental a few times and will likely come again. The deck is deck is amazing! We could spend the whole trip out there watching the ocean and the planes flying in and out. Sofa is a little small and very low to the ground. Maybe not idea for more than 2 people or travelers with weak knees.Coffee shops, brewery, golf course and airstrip 'in town' are easily walkable, but the return trip is uphill.“

„This was a perfect coastal getaway for our family. This was our home base for 2 days and we explored the Redwoods and the Shelter Cove area. House was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. View is fabulous! “

„We loved it here. The community is quiet, the little general store had the couple of extra things we didn’t get that we needed when we were in fort bragg. We felt safe to walk there, and it was quick and easy. The view was just incredible, and we loved how secluded we felt. Kitchen has everything we needed, clean and well appointed. We would absolutely stay here again.“

„Getting here was a challenge, but the area and property was worth the trip! Plenty of extras for anyone who forgot something. Kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Bedrooms and bathrooms were just as the listing indicated. The owners really make efforts to ensure the stay is comfortable and special. Would recommend this rental to anyone in the area!“

„Cannot recommend to stay here. My room smelled "funny". There was foreign hair all over the place. The door looked like somebody tried to force their way in a while ago. Mattress is done. At least the staff is friendly and parking is free...“
