„Driving in it was really quaint but seeing the big pole barn really ruined the wilderness feel. It was a very cold weekend which we knew going into it but the cabins could be better insulated or they could use better heaters. „We went with a couple of family friends and all had kids between 5-10 years old. Has a nice big yard with plenty of room for the kids to play games and run around. Beds were comfortable and clean. It was really nice how the owner provided firewood. We brought our fishing boat that we were able to tie to the dock and had some great catches! And best of all, it was only an hour north of us making it an easy drive for the kids :) we would come back for sure.“

„We enjoyed our stay. The composting toilet is not something we are used to by any means, but with a lighted candle and the easy directions it wasn’t too bad! The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were extremely responsive. The fire wood was wet, our lighter was broken and they helped us right away. If I ever need to come back to the area, I would stay here. Thank you!“

„The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and functional for our group of 11. The kitchen was clean and functional for our group. The lighting over the dining table was inadequate for playing games. The only place to sit and read with adequate lighting was on the upstairs balcony which was an excellent place to play a musical instrument for acoustics.“
