„River Retreat was a perfect stay for us as we attended a sibling/cousin reunion across the river. The Cottage feel stay was quiet, peaceful and fully furnished. K-cup coffee and maker even. We did try to adjust the thermostat on the wall but ended up using AC window unit which was fine—suggested to leave an outside broom to sweep off deck. (I'm a floor person).“

„This is a totally charming old house. We loved the differently colored bedrooms, the sunflower themes, and the spaciousness of the kitchen/dining/living area. Our group consisted of 6 senior women, and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate us. The pool, hot tub and goats were an added bonus! I would totally recommend staying here.“

„Our host thought of many nice touches to make our stay comfortable and convenient. The baked goods and treats were very kind and considerate, as a were the health and beauty products. The house was comfortable and thoughtfully updated. The only drawback to the property was the narrowness and steepness of the steps to the 3rd bedroom in the attic.
