Villa Sophie overview

The villa has very recently been renovated, and is now ready for guests. We have uploaded a few more internal photographs. More to follow.

Villa Sophie is a privately owned detached villa located on an exclusive development just 350 metres from the beautiful beach of Pissouri Bay. Pissouri Bay beach is a blue flag beach, shallow bathing areas providing water sports.

A fully air conditioned, 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom villa providing an exceptional standard of accommodation with its own large private swimming pool, everything you could wish for from your holiday getaway in the sun, within walking distance to all amenities.

Villa layout
The villa is constructed over two floors, perfectly suited to cater for all guests. The villa boasts a large, coveted terrace, offering private sunbathing with aspects out to sea.

Tastefully furnished to a high standard, offering an open planned living room, dining and kitchen arrangement with patio doors leading out to a large terrace providing a comfortable seating area and alfresco dinning for 6 guests.

The villa is blessed with two double bedrooms, both being ensuite. The Master has a King size bed with its own private balcony overlooking the pool, garden area with sea views. The second bedroom being configured to a twin room with a private balcony with a sea view, both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. Villa Sophie has been fitted with Air-Conditioning units throughout affording coolth even during the hotter months of the year.

The kitchen is supported with modern appliances, with a mix of Bosch and Pro Cook accoutrements, with sufficient cutlery, crockery and glasses to host 8 guests.

Family entertainment is focused around the 10 x 5 Metre private pool, beautiful mature garden, large terrace, and the 43” TV delivering NETFLIX, AMAZON, IVIEW (Sky) and many more familiar entertainment Apps. The internet is superfast, reaching all extremities of the villa and gardens facilitating streaming on all Ipads etc.

Outdoor areas
The villa offers a mature secure garden, the garden, terrace and pool all provide adequate mood lighting to enhance the evening holiday theme. There are four sun loungers for those who wish to soak up the Cypriot sunshine.

Villa Sophie has a full-size BBQ and outside dining area which will ensure alfresco dining and ambience is of a premium.

The close locality of Pissouri Bay provides early morning and sunset swims in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. There is a convenience store and a clutch of restaurants, tavernas and bars providing entertainment within 400 Metres of the villa.

The villa is fitted with solar panels generating hot water, thus reducing the villa’s carbon footprint as much as possible.

Well-appointed villa close to the beach with magnificent sea views
We had a relaxing stay in this well-appointed villa close to the beach and the local restaurants. The garden - and the view from the balconies - is really beautiful. It's lovely and quiet - just birdsong and the sound of the waves! We only used the large pool once (a bit too cold in December). The villa manager is very kind, and check-in and -out went very smoothly. We will be back!

Best Presented Villa
Over the years, we have stayed at many villas in Cyprus: Villa Sophie is easily the best presented with a tasteful approach to its décor and furnishings. Being renovated earlier in 2024, Villa Sophie was in excellent condition with everything we needed for our month’s stay. Our host, Michelle, ensured that all had been arranged for our holiday and she provided us with a comprehensive and useful information pack. One particular plus for me was the excellent direction instructions and the extremely accurate GPS position: a great start to our holiday. All the furniture, both inside and outside, was of a high standard and very comfortable. The generous sized private pool with easy access deserves praise as does the very well-maintained private garden. During our stay, the pool was cleaned twice per week (usually before 7 a.m.) and the gardeners came once per week. Towards the end of our stay, the temperature dropped from the high of 25˚C that we had enjoyed for the first 3 weeks; however, we coped easily with this drop in temperature by using the air conditioners to provide warm air during the evenings. Finally, we should mention the excellent Internet and television provision, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Beautiful villa in a perfect location
We had a fabulous stay at this villa. Very clean, spacious, modern, great to have access to a smart tv with all channels. Kitchen fully stocked for all of your needs. Easy to maintain. Good air con. Well maintained garden and lovely sized pool. Gardener and pool guy came during the week we were there. The location is amazing, the beach is visible from the villa and a short 5 minute walk, and the bars and restaurants a minute further. Just brilliant and will definitely be returning. Beautiful Villa
Villa Sophie was beautiful. Situated in our favourite place in Cyprus and a stone thrown from the beach. The villa was clean, nicely decorated, perfect pool and gardens. We loved feeding the beautiful cats (my daughter named the little black and ginger fleck kitten PomPom). Michelle was very quick to deal with any issues we had. We know Cyprus very well and hired a boat in Latchi (if you do it book for 9am as Blue Lagoon gets very busy at 11) and is only an hour's drive away. We would definitely stay at Villa Sophie again as we were so relaxed, content and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Michelle.

Fantastic Pissouri Holiday Villa
We had a fabulous time here at Villa Sophie. All you could want or need for a comfortable stay. We used the pool everyday, especially if we’d been out for the day, it was so lovely to come back to. Anne (house manager) was extremely helpful, even taking us to collect a car which we hired for 8 days, at a reasonable price. This allowed us to visit a lot more, such as Coral Bay, Aphrodite’s Rock, Paphos, Limassol and Pissouri Village. Aphrodite’s rock is beautiful, the sea was clear, calm and warm! We visited a few restaurants in the area, all server delicious food. The Village Salads, white bait and pork chops from Artemis was our favourite. The villa has been well thought out and I probably the best Villa we have stayed at. Thanks Michelle for your excellent communication leading up to our holiday. The information you provided was really helpful and thanks for allowing us to make some special holiday memories from our stay at Pissouri bay!

Villa Sophia will not disappoint -
The villa had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is light and airy and clean . The beds were very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The en suite shower room to the master bedroom was a nice surprise as it had just been totally renovated with modern walk in shower etc . Air con throughout is included which was great on 6 hour timers. Location was perfect for walking to the numerous restaurants and driving distance of 2.mins to get to the old village of Pissouri. The nearby beach is a blue flag beach and plentiful sun beds for hire . The owner Michelle is very helpful and responds fast to communications pre arrival and post arrival.

Clean and beautifully presented villa in a location which is second to none in Cyprus in our opinion. Lovely clean pool, beautiful gardens, proper loungers and comfy beds. Fully equipped with everything you could need and more (a cool box, beach towels, decent sized fridge, bbq, wifi to mention but a few). We had such a great stay as a family in villa sophie and would return in a heartbeat.

A perfect getaway at Villa Sophie
Villa Sophie exceeded all our expectations. From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Firstly, the owner was incredibly responsive and addressed any questions we had promptly, making the entire stay stress-free. The villa itself was even better than we imagined. The rooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief during a Cypriot heatwave! The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials, and there was a great selection of TV channels / Netflix etc. The outside area was one of the best aspects of the house, and one of the main reasons we chose this villa. There were several seating and sunbathing areas, perfect for relaxing. The large, clean pool was a highlight and provided much-needed relief from the sun. Additionally, the BBQ at the end of the garden was fantastic for evening meals. The pissouri bay area was lovely, too. With a handful of shops, restaurants, bars and a beach all within a 5 minute walk. And Pissouri village (with a slightly larger selection of restaurants / shops etc, was only a 7 min drive (definitely worth visiting). Overall, our time at Villa Sophie was wonderful. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Cyprus.

Peaceful, private Pissouri
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sophie! Michelle was a fantastic host - quick to respond and proactive to reach out and check in with us. The house was a lovely home base for our week in Cyprus! We loved the pool/garden especially. As far as location, Pissouri is quite central to many of the most popular places in the island - at most about a 2 hour drive to some of the furthest destinations. We had rented a car and had no trouble getting around. I would come back in a heartbeat!
