Reserved and paid for a king deluxe room. Called the day prior and comfirmed/requested an accessible shower. Arrived and provided my credit card for incidentals only to realize the charged me for room again. Omce we got that figured out, we were given keys and went to our room. Immediately went back to desk because room was not a king deluxe. I was immediately told that they overbooked rooms and had to move me. What? Move me and not tell me? Not offer a discount? Just expect me to be ok with that? I then suggested that they move someone else that hadnt checked in yet, not me. Was again told that they didnt have any kings available and definitely not a king deluxe with an accessible shower. I again suggested they move the next person. She thrn said that my reservation did not specify a kind deluxe and there was no note about my request for an accessible shower. I offered to show her my confirmation but then the woman said she needed to speak to her manager, and 2 minutes later i was given keys to a king deluxe with an accessible shower. Why lie to your customers? Why hide a room change? I am Completely appauled by this behavior and how i was gaslit into thinking my reservation was not what i thought and how shady it is for them to just change rooms with zero disclosure. Shameful behavior
