„What a fun house with so many amazing details. We had a great time exploring the house and enjoying the decor. The rooms were all comfortable and the bathrooms were gorgeous. There was nowhere for all of us to sit comfortably together and chill but we ended up on the floor in the beetle juice room at night and on the beds in the front bedroom for coffee in the morning. So glad to know about this unique spot!“

„The house was adequate however, the kitchen was dirty and ant infested. We sprayed and cleaned the kitchen and no more ants during our stay. Lots of construction near the house which was noisy and it was annoying trying to find our way around with a couple of closed roads. The exterior of the house is unkept, front and back yards were not mowed with grass and weeds 3 feet tall. Advertised pictures were much better than actual house and yard.“

„The guest cottage is even better than the VRBO descriptive explains...very quaint, everything you could need, wonderful sunlight in the mornings, a lovely porch with chickens doing short serenades...did you know that the Pazzis were foiled from assassinating the Medici out in the country by chickens? That is why you will see chicken shaped pitchers, seriously. So, very safe! Very quiet! And close to the park and those lovely redwood trees--the 12 apostles, the Faery Ring. Easy to get everywhere ...

„On the hills of Maxwell Park, this apartment is just perfect for getting a gorgeous view of the Bay. We really enjoyed getting to know Oakland this way and also using BART to access the entire area. We will be happy to return.“

„It was my 70th birthday and we booked two suites. Check in was a breeze - they allowed us to the rooms early, made sure the rooms were next to each other, carried our luggage to our rooms. I couldn't be happer with the selection and will definitely recommend. The only thing was being able to let people know where we were staying. Having the name Sonesta Suites would have been helpful to help our friends find the location.“
