„Gorgeous view of the meadow and mountains. We enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys and horses grazing every day. The setting was perfect for relaxing and as headquarters for our daily trips to the numerous mountain roads. The owner Andy, is delightful to meet and was so informative about the area, his tour of the ranch was fun and provided a chance to see the area up close. „Stayed two nights at Docs Log Cabin while we hiked some of the local trails. The cabin was small but clean and very functional with everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The store next door had a nice beverage selection and the folks were very friendly and helpful “

„Came up from Georgia for a friends wedding. The cabin was perfect with great views of the mountains and lake. Very clean and had all basic necessities. Beds were comfortable. Nice there was shampoo and soap.“

I would have preferred earlier communication about the directions and checkin process. With little to no cell service in the valley you need to know this stuff before 24 hours to check in. It would be useful to have instructions to read the welcome book and get the main key in those emailed instructions too.“

„The place is very cozy and comfortable, it is only a one bedroom with a ver uncomfortable pull out couch but many foom pads are also provided in bedroom closet. This place is quite rustic grounds around cabin and feel it is tiny bit over priced for the size of cabin and very natural unladscaped terrain on the exterior. We did enjoy our stay very much though!“
