„We have had three pretty days at the Bassenthwaite Lake Side Lodge. Everything was successfully. We loved to sit outside on the terracce. It is such a quite, peacefull place. Two times we walked to the Pub "Sun in" in Bassenthwaite it is a halfe hour walk away.“

„I booked this lodge via VRBO as a mini break for my birthday with my 8 year old son. The VRBO website clearly stated that the lodge had a private hot tub, as did my booking confirmation. However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property. „Wonderful stay. We booked it to break up a trip back home from the Highlands in Scotland. We were welcomed on arrival with a quick check in and then we had a lovely walk round the lake.
