Welcome to Harvel Country Estate! Nestled in prime location between Sequim and Port Angeles; close to the National Park, the Dungeness Sand Spit, Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, endless hikes, wineries, and beaches.

We have the country setting that most people dream about in their lifetime; this property boasts a large family home to enjoy family and friends all year long.

Our home only has a few steps into the main floor for those that are limited to stairs. The main floor consists of a living room/gathering room with a flat screen tv, large kitchen, huge dining area that can seat 12+ people, a second dining area for 8, a master bedroom/bath, additional bathroom, and a mudroom (complete with washer and dryer and a backup refrigerator, for extra food/drink storage for crowds.) The main floor also boasts a large viewing deck of sloping pasture, wildlife, and incredible sunsets. From the deck, there is access to the hot tub.

Upstairs, you will find 3 good size bedrooms with beds facing out to enjoy the country setting; there is a large full bathroom upstairs. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and the third upstairs bedroom has a queen bed.

Lower level, has additional bedroom with a king size bed, a children's "Toy Story" themed bunk area, playroom with queen sized bed, and two sleeper ottomans for extra guests. There is a sliding glass door to a fenced back yard, YES a fenced back yard, for those of us that bring our dog(s) on vacation and search hard for fenced yards!

The garage area has an additional bedroom furnished with two double bunk beds (bottom bunks are comprised of full sized mattresses with a twin on top.) This Americana themed room sleeps 4-6 and is adjoined to a garage-game room equipped with a state of the art air hockey table, and a ping pong table.

There is a short walking path from the estate to our part of an incredible pond; we have chairs and a hammock to sit and enjoy this very serene spot; bring your morning coffee, you won't want to leave.

At the end of the day, sit in our adirondack chairs around the fire pit , and reflect upon your adventures in our neck of the woods.
We decorate this home for Christmas . We will have it decorated from the middle of November through January 1 for those who would like to enjoy some Christmas magic!!

Just what we needed!
What a beautiful stay we had at this incredible estate. It was just two of us and our dog and we loved every minute of it. From the swing at the pond, the pond, the lawn axe throwing, the hot tub, the deer that visited us out back etc…… this place is everything! Oh and the money paid goes to their amazing animal rescue in Sequim. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful and Peaceful Setting
We stayed here with family and had an absolute blast. This house allows close access to many area attractions, but we really enjoyed coming back to the house to unwind, have dinner, sit around a fire, and enjoy the views. Plenty of room here for everyone and something for everyone to do! The host was very kind and accommodating and quick to answer any questions.

Family vacation home loved by all
The house and grounds were very family friendly for our group of 12, ranging in age from two to eighty. As others have mentioned the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and various appliances along with spices which our family, who prepared meals at the house, appreciated. Of course having two refrigerators eliminated the need to go shopping frequently. There are many areas for eating both inside and out. We spent many hours around the comfortable large dining table. The board games as well as the game room were real hits with the grandkids. The grandkids were thrilled to be able to make snow cones, in the games room, during a surprise 80th birthday party for grandma and grandpa. The grounds provided hours of entertainment with boat races on the pond, playground equipment, for creative play, and a hot tub to relax in after a day of hiking in the National Park or walking along the beach. A negative for us was that the time went too quickly. Thank you for sharing your house with us while we were in the area.

Large Picturesque home outside Port Angeles
Beautiful home with gorgeous views in all directions. Short drive to Port Angeles and Olympic national Park. Worked great for our large group of seven adults and 7 kids. Games and activities in the game room were a big hit, for the older kids especially. The house was perfectly clean, well-maintained, and had everything that we needed. Host was very responsive with any issues and even helped us out with mailing back a few items that we forgot when we left. we would definitely recommend this to others and would love to stay here again sometime

Perfect stay near Olympic National Park
We spent the week visiting Port Angeles and the national park with three families including a bunch of kids (3-13). This house was idyllic — tons of space, lots of sleeping areas, a nice big kitchen and eating area, the game room, the shaved ice machine, the hot tub, the pond and boats. The accommodations were great all around. And then you’re an easy drive to many of the prime spots like Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent and Dungeness Spit. We also took the ferry to Victoria for a day trip which was fun but involved a lot of waiting to get on the ferry + getting off waiting for customs and immigration. Overall we had an amazing time and highly recommend this place!

Amazing Property
The property is so beautiful, relaxing, and just plain enjoyable. We had our two daughters and their families with us and we had a great time. The house is huge and offered the perfect place for multiple families. The grandkids had a great time playing on the playground equipment and in the game room. The host, Martha, is excellent and does a great job of providing everything one could need at a rental property. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had 10 adults and 2 toddlers. This home was so perfect for all of us. When we walked in and I saw the large kitchen table my heart melted. To be greeted by 4 deer was perfect for the boys and littles. Very comfortable. Fun things to do. Quiet area. Just so wonderful. Highly recommend for a large family gathering.

Comfortably Fun
This is the first time our entire family (Both sides) have stayed in the same house on a vacation. Stressful thought for some, I know, but this house made it stress free and relaxing. We had plenty of space, the kitchen had all the essentials of home and the relaxing view made the entire trip worth it. Christmas dreams do come true here!
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!! I can not say enough about this home. We have rented all over the world and this is far and away the best equipped and most comfortable home we have ever stayed in. Our family loved it and is talking about making this a destination for a summer get together. We did Christmas at the house and it was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we could possibly want. Most highly recommend this as Martha and this home are beyond wonderful.

Amazing!
We rented this property for my 40th birthday. We had 10 adults and eight children and it was absolutely perfect! There were plenty of bedrooms and spaces for us to spread out and be together. The kitchen was fully stopped with everything we needed. The owner even put out a nice bottle of wine and hot cocoa with tons of toppings! The kids love that part! The Christmas decorations were definitely one of the highlights! The property was beautifully decorated and made for a great introduction into the Christmas season! The hot tub is also wonderful! The kids really enjoyed the bunk bedroom and the game room in the garage! I don't think us adults really ever saw the kids the whole weekend! Thank you again for a wonderful weekend! We will definitely be making this an annual trip!

Family Reunion/Thanksgiving/80th Birthday
I cannot say enough about how wonderful this house was for our group with age range from 1-80. Main floor suite perfect for older parents with mobility challenges, bunkhouse in the garage for all 6 of the college aged cousins, private suite downstairs for the family with four small children and three bedrooms upstairs for the middle aged parents. It was like the house was designed for our group. The only thing better than the sleeping situation was the kitchen and gathering spaces. The kitchen is well appointed with a double oven and plenary of dishes and cooking supplies. We did Thanksgiving dinner for 19 with no trouble at all. The huge dinning room table fit all of us. We just brought two folding chairs for the kiddos and we got everyone around the table. The family enjoyed the game room in the garage and the hot tub as well. The property is lovely and we took walks down the country road watching the deer and birds. And the location is awesome for exploring hurricane ridge and the rainforest. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean beautifully decorated home for a large family gathering I would wholeheartedly recommend Martha’s place. She is a wonderful host who replied promptly to any questions or requests before and during our stay. We made some wonderful family memories in this beautiful home and are hoping to come back again soon!

Absolutely Spectacular!
Everything at this property was perfect. The host made us feel assured that the property is family and pet friendly so we didn’t feel nervous about our dogs or young children being there. They were super quick to respond to all of our inquiries. Our party was 20 people ranging in age from 1-55 and we fit very comfortably in the home with space to spare. We had everything we needed or wanted and the hot tub was absolutely divine. In addition, the game room was so much fun for us to play and spend time together as a family. There is also a lot to do and see in the nearby town of Port Angeles especially if you like the outdoors. I give this place an A+ 10/10 5 stars! We will definitely be visiting this place again.
