"On our way driving to Phoenix we decided to spend 3 nights in Half Moon Bay, had never been to this area. It was great! "Like the other reviewer said, it's really a tale of two halves: the pre-arrival communication was lacking but the property itself was super. After making the reservation I got an email and text asking me to complete a Move In form. I had a question about the form, emailed the contact and got an immediate answer back. So far so good, but then I emailed the form back to the contact and nothing. The next day I got another email and text asking for the form so I tried again and still nothing....

"Our stay was ruined when the host had the most deafening construction taking place right downstairs in the bottom unit of the house. It was like jackhammers were being driven into our brains. Extremely disappointing, and when I tried to get a refund the host completely ghosted me and hasn’t responded for weeks. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"we wanted to be able to spend some time near the ocean. This is a small place but an easy walk to Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay. A nice, quiet backyard. We enjoyed eating dinner there. A good place for a couple or perhaps a small family. A tiny but excellent shower. I would be happy to rent this place again."

"Amazing front porch with beautiful views. Feels far from everything, but actually quite east accsss to amenities. The house was lovely, and the rooms were cozy. The mattress protector made it sound like you were sleeping on a tarp but the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed, bathroom had nice plastic free hair care options and soap. Would have loved some good coffee and or tea on site, its not pratical to buy a box/bag for a couple of nights. Thank you for the perfect getaway."

"Cute little accommodations! Very nice bathroom and shower facilities! The shower is especially amazing! Even though we were there when it was pretty warm outside, our place stayed cool being it's a shaded area surrounded with beautiful trees! (A nice fan is also supplied.)
